A good recent video uploaded from the Lendsbay team - check it out here @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DKhGXN4uOo&feature=youtu.be&a

Thanks for sharing, myself and I'm sure many others can learn better by watching as opposed to reading. The only thing I would like to see/hear is that background music turned down a bit, I found it distracting at times.

That's a fact. Visuals speaks better and sticks longer than text and it gives better understanding of what is been spoken of.. I hope they keep releasing more videos frequently.

The video was a bit educating to me and i myself enjoy watching videos to reading, it tends to stick faster to my memory and also there is this feeling to it.

Quite an interesting video to watch, simple, clear and concise, I think this is one of the much needed move we so look forward to in the loan industry where I don't necessarily have to go to those around my social group to get loans

I recommend this video to anyone reading to watch, it captures Loansbay concept beautifully

There is a lack in the general credit/loan arena which the blockchain according to the whitepaper seems to solve quite well. I think the trickiest part would be the  KYC of participants.

250k softcap at the pre-ico sounds very good for me. But a softcap of 10mio for the whole ICO? don't you think that's a little bit high?
and how high is the hardcap?

I read the whitepaper. There is a table there with amount of tokens being sold during every stage of ICO and price for a token. Here are my calculations:

Pre-ICO:
860 000 * $0.25 (presale) +
780 000 * $0.27 (week 1) +
740 000 * $0.29 (week 2) +
700 000 * $0.31 (week 3) +
670 000 * $0.32 (week 4) +
640 000 * $0.33 (week 5) +
610 000 * $0.35 (week 6) = $1 496 300

ICO:
27 000 000 * $0.37 (stage 1) +
23 000 000 * $0.43 (stage 2) +
20 000 000 * $0.50 (stage 3) = $9 990 000 + $9 890 000 + $10 000 000 = $119 770 000.

So the full token supply is $121 266 300. Can we call this the hardcap?

This is a big calculation mistake. 9.9+9.9+10 = 30 mil. Hardcap is 30 mil. Not sure how you end up in 119 mil.

Better, when I first saw 119 m I was shocked it really huge. My question then was how the hell are they gonna make that but 30 m is very reasonable and achievable

I wish the plan advance.
Pretty good project, excellence approach.  Good luck fellows.

I'm wishing them success in their project also. Their proposed features are amazing they intend to offer new approach to loans between friends and acquaintances.

I was just thinking, if all the crypto projects out to change one or two things for the better in the way of life of a man actually hit their targets, the earth will be a better and technically advanced place to stay.

Yes, the blockchain industry has created an avenue for various creative projects to spring up but some of them are just working on concepts based on fantasies with no real problem solving concept but the genuine ones are really coming up with outstanding concepts that needs to be appreciated, such projects can not come to life with the conventional means but the blockchain technology has made that possible

Really short video, but it really explains a lot about lendsbay and I also notice the channel has lots of subscribers. Thanks for putting up the link.

That’s true actually, I didn’t realise when I first saw the video that LendsBay have over 9,000 subscribers on YouTube, that’s a great audience considering there are relatively few  videos on their account.

Not just for so few viewers but so early in the project I’ve seen other ICOs that even much later barely break 5k and their at this point so close to breaking 10k

Nice thanks.  I find alot of people can't be bothered with reading whitepapers etc anymore, so I think it's increasingly more important to have video media that explains the basics of your projects also.

640 000 * $0.33 (week 5) +
610 000 * $0.35 (week 6) = $1 496 300

ICO:
27 000 000 * $0.37 (stage 1) +
23 000 000 * $0.43 (stage 2) +
20 000 000 * $0.50 (stage 3) = $9 990 000 + $9 890 000 + $10 000 000 = $119 770 000.

and i really thought they have such a high hardcap. that happens if you do not recalculate yourself :-)
Thanks for checking, 30mio sounds a lot more plausible

That's always good, so 30 mill is the hardcap? that is not much at all. Whats the softcap? can someone remind me

Oh, sorry everybody who read this. Too many numbers... Thank you for noticing this. Now I know that recalculation of such things is always necessary. 30M is much more OK, I think.

30 mil hardcap and 1.5 mil softcap is super target which could be achieved without issue. Especially the project is well conceived and have good future also. With the experience of team, they really can move the project in a good way.

Lmao, I was about to say, how the hell did you manage to get $100m from 10+10+10! $30m hardcap isn't bad, it's the hardcap so it's not what they need to get the project to succeed.

Yeah softcap is what's important although their hard cap seems feasible, I'll be happy if  they attain hardcap still.
Once the softcap is reached the team can start to work on the project already and i also think they will reach it very fast we just need to have patience.

It explains the ecosystem in a very easy to understand and short video, i also noticed they have a lot of followers on their YouTube channel.

Nice.. Thanks for sharing this. Going to use this to keep myself busy as i am still new to the project.

I saw that lendsbay have got some good ratings on some ico sites.

I love those simple videos. Nicely explained what Lendsbay is and how it will work. But I see a problem with the ratings after the lending process was closed. Who will rate and what is the basis for the rating?
