the frontpage has removed the twitter feed, and there is no comment from the pool operator anywhere that i can find.

the trades gave middlecoin the edge over the other pools, but it's either too hard to trade to profit now, or the site op has given up.  they may have a bunch of manual trades to input, but who cares?  it's been like this for a couple of days now, so site ops don't care.

middlecoin did do extremely well with dogecoin, and i think we started mining it a few days before everyone else caught on.  middlecoin was likely selectively mining low-difficulty doge blocks too, which helped us through dec-jan.

i assume middlecoin is under new management and the people that made it work well are gone now, or they're content to just let it run into the ground.
Ummm . . . the Twitter feed is still there and h2odysee's last appearance on Bitcoin forums was . . . yesterday.  Roll Eyes

Don't know where he was, but he was on the boards.

let's make a deal.
anyone else seeing a VERY slow transfer from unexchanged to balance lately?  I have not had any transfer at all for 3 days...

What is the unexchanged balance?

This is your balance of coins other than bitcoins. My auto-exchanger will convert them into bitcoins, usually within a day

what a fuck?
"usually" = "2013"

Pool Picker is wrong again as last day 'magic' profit is driven by exchange of unexchanged coins thus not mined that day! Today graph sucks again. I simply don't understand that 10GHs still belives in middle as there are too many alternatives now.

I am beginning to think that an elite few have an inside deal and the charts and payout are manipulated to scare others away. There is no other reasonable explanation. I simply refuse to believe those people contributing towards the 10GH simply don't care to go elsewhere Smiley

pooP(l)picker is of no use in many cases. it's numbers are gathered the wrong way and are never accurate. if one wants to present good info, just put 1 mh at each of the pools you want to add to your site and post payments.
on mar 15th my payment was about 0.004/mh. still too low for that particular day but mining is never an one day thing. i do also have some hash at CM and Waffle so I can surely compare the real stats

on Mar 15 MC went from balance of 87 to 74

That's not correct. That 74 on the chart is some sort of a glitch, if you look at the actual scale where the next red line starts it's closer to 50. The reason I'm nitpicking here is that I know for a fact that my payout that day was not 0.0013. There is no doubt that middlecoin is way off its heyday, but it's not as horrible as it may seem. It just had a large payout a couple of hours ago, and it's still sitting on a mountain of unexchanged coins, which might be worth something.

Yep, MC is hard to estimate with all the unexchanged.  Sort of a rollercoaster.  It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.  I'm not ruling out going back to MC.  They still have a lot of hash power which of course is more luck towards being successful.

edit:  it actually makes me wonder if there's any trading benefit to keeping a certain balance of btc with various exchanges. I know with stock exchange services you get better flexibility and options if you maintain a larger balance.

Those coinpicker numbers are getting ready to get skewed.  Middlecoin looks like it cashed in approx 25% of those unexchanged coins.

Middlecoin officially the worst over the last month.

Any idiots remaining on this pool should reconsider

Where do you get these charts? I'd love to bookmark the page and keep an eye on it. Thanks!

There is something odd with poolpicker's numbers for middlecoin. If you look at middlecoin.com there is no such sudden drop down to 0.001 per MH. And if you look at poolpicker's own details here: http://poolpicker.eu/text.php there is no 0.001 either. Proceed with caution.

It's actually pretty close adn you can see just a few posts up that on Mar 15 MC went from balance of 87 to 74.  So they paid out 13 btc across aboug 10Gh/s.  PP shows something around .004 mh/s that day but they (MC) were more like .0013 mh/s.  It's bizarre to me that MC still has so much hash power when the other sites seem to be more consistent.  I was on MC when I started.. good ole days of .013 mh/s and now I've been with WP.  But... coinshift is starting to look interesting too.  Seems like MC should be doing a lot better with 10gh/s but my opinion is that if the performance continues to suck then some of that hash power could make coinshift interesting since it currently only has 1.5 gh/s and is performing well.  Would be interesting to see how it does with more hash power.

thats pitiful

0.009 mh/s is pitiful?  Seems on par or better than others and not at all what poolpicker is reporting.  I wonder what's really going on...

Where did you get that stat?

My bad math, nevermind.  Or I could blame confusing charts.  Confusing charts, let's go with that.  I was looking at the balance at payout but they don't pay out that balance.  smh

haha its all good man.
