We are looking at the lowest profit on this pool today. It is sad. This pool had so much promise and potential.
Whats the daily figure now, Ive not mined recently.   I used to be ok with 0.01 btc a day from 7950

If BTC rises I think it makes the alts look worse, all miners are bound to get squeezed?

All cryptos are FIAT digital currency. Do not use.

The only thing you know is how to let others do everything for you.

So you never use any form of service for a fee. Good for you  Roll Eyes

This. I bet you don't even use a bank, you just keep cash stuffed underneath your bed!

I'll bet you have no fucking idea why Bitcoin was created.

Pop another stupid pill, buddy. You might wake up someday.

I'll bet you have no answer to any point put to you to, so you distract by asking another question and stoop to insults to hide your inadequacy.

You really don't know why Satoshi (and others) started Bitcoin and the crypto currency movement. Do you ..

I'll bet... you lose most of your bets. Tongue

it was the version of cgminer, I just googled and downloaded the latest when I set up the new machine, I dropped it back to 3.3.1 and its reporting correctly, thanks for your help

on 3332 it still says difficulty 511 and network is 148 now, and it still keeps saying found block

I inspected the packets, and my server is sending you the correct difficulty.

It looks as though your miner is correctly submitting blocks though. So maybe it's just a display error. What program do you use? cgminer?

If I were you, I'd go back to port 3333, and use a separate username for that miner, and see if your hashrate on the website is correct, in an hour.

says pool difficulty 511 and network 6, is there a way to insert a screen shot in here?

I'm not sure. You might have to upload it elsewhere and just link it here with an img tag.

If you can, try connecting to port 3332 instead of 3333. It's just a temporary port I set up to see what's going on.

Is the pool difficulty 512, and the network difficulty 6?

I've been mining at this pool for a about two months with 5 7790s, 3 in one machine and 2 in another. Yesterday I popped a 7850 in another machine and connected it. The 7850 seems to be mining a different coin then the 7790s by the difficulty and this has been going on for over 24hours. Is this normal? I just want to make sure I didn't screw up a setting on it or something cause whatever it is mining has extremely low difficulty

That is not normal. All your miners should be at 446K difficulty right now. What are they at?

Edit: I just checked, and I don't see any miners somehow connected to any incorrect pool. I'm not sure what would cause it to show you a different difficulty.

Oh, you know why Bitcoin was created? I apologize, Satoshi, sir, I didn't know it was you.

I didn't say that. I said that you brought that up to distract from the fact that you can't answer what is put to you.

Furthermore, the more coins you kill, the quicker it becomes unprofitable to mine.

I don't get that point. Can you expand?

People like you are just whining and moaning because your favorite shitcoin is dying, but it's because it's a shitcoin, not because of multipools.
Being able or not to withstand spikes of Gh/s from profit pools is not what makes it a good or bad coin.

A good coin survives the environmental challenges it faces and is of good use at whatever circumstances.

If it can't face the reality of 'profit pools' and live, let Darwin put it at the end of some extinct currency twig on the evolutionary tree.
Nonsense. What makes a good coin is bringing something new, like PoS, new algorithms, the ability to buy products and services with it, etc...

Bitcoin would be killed if someone had ASICs to mine it from the very beginning, or an array of GPUs vs everyone mining on CPUs. The 51% attack was always a concern. There have been forks also. So much for your "environmental challenges" and "good use at whatever circumstances".

Furthermore, the more coins you kill, the quicker it becomes unprofitable to mine.

I think you are both right. BTC did survive so far due to Darwinian theory. Man would have been killed in the beginning if our earliest predators had guns, they didn't, just like no one had ASICS 2 years ago. The next part of evolution is mutation, or bringing something new. That is indeed what new coins need to do to compete with BTC.

Alts are on borrowed time anyway. What difference if their demise is sooner than later? I have been selling off my rigs for the last few months and I assume most with farms are doing the same.
