The payout is pretty low these few weeks, what happened?Huh

For the past two weeks combined, we have made 0.0177 BTC per MH/s per day

The week before that we did poorly because of my FTC mistake, wasting hashrate for several hours one day.

LTC mining by itself is currently at 0.136. It was higher earlier in the week. I should probably log LTC profitability over time, to give a more accurate comparison.

See http://middlecoin.com/profitgraph.html for a day to day profit per hashrate display.

hi, on dustcoin my estimates for 1300-1500khash are 0.022 per day

so far in 12 hours i have 0.006 whic his gonna be barely a half of the predicted

mining LTC or FTC gets me to 0.02 per day

is this because this is a first day that im seeing such low count, or does this pool have problems?

thanks

Is the 0.006 just your balance, or all of the immature/unexchanged/balance/payout columns combined? You need to add all these up, rather than just look at the balance, if you want to measure profits for as short a period of time as 12 hours.

LTC mining with your hashrate range will get you 0.0176 to 0.0203 at the current difficulty / exchange rate.

I think it is because of first day and you will have some immature coins. But for 1.5MH, there is no point mining here as the difficulty level (512) is too high for such small hash rate.

So have payouts been the same for a while or is this low these last few days. I haven't been mining here for a while as my one video card was overheating suddenly, but i'm getting about half what I used to.

It's been the same for a while.  http://middlecoin.com/profitgraph.html

LTC is at 0.0142 profitability right now. So since the feathercoin blunder, we've been averaging a bit more than that.
Ok, maybe I'm just needing to get some immature built up and stabilized to get to where i was before I'm back into the same groove I was before.

Thanks, and sorry. I'm sure you love these kinds of questions...

Most responsible pool operators that I've seen at least removed pool fees temporarily after screwing up. And these screw ups I speak of are minor compared to losing $2000+ USD of the pool's funds. You've lost my hash power.

Where are you getting $2000?

If Middlecoin had been on the updated chain, in 5 hours you would have found around 30 blocks which would be around 5 BTC worth.

The bad blocks found on the wrong chain were found at artificially low difficulty with almost no competing hashrate, so you can't really count that amount.
The pool's immature funds went from 21 BTC to 8 BTC after the blunder was discovered. 13 BTC so closer to 1650-1700 USD, still doesn't make me any happier.

Right, but those weren't "real" funds, they were based on a bunch of FTC blocks that were found at artificially low difficulty with little competing hashrate on the network.

As I said earlier, if middlecoin had been mining on the right chain the amount would have been closer to 5 BTC.  You didn't 'lose' the 13 BTC because it was never really there.  It was just a number in the database.
The difficulty on our orphaned chain was the same as the main chain...

Wow! 0 BTC unexchanged! Did you get rid of *all* of the stuck coins? Smiley

I believe there is still a small amount of immature stuck coins. But I fixed most of it yesterday.

There is a hashrate display error at the moment. Will be cleared up in an hour. Edit: it's cleared up.

Yea, the graph shows the pool going from ~27 BTC immature/unexchanged plus ~7 BTC Balance (34 BTC total) to ~17 BTC immature/unexchanged plus ~1 BTC balance (18 BTC total).  Thats ~16 BTC difference or $2016 USD at current Bitstamp price. I think there was a payout there but that still makes almost 10 BTC difference if you exclude the BTC that were in the balance.

Not saying right or wrong, but that is where I would guess the number he used came from and what the graph shows.

Hi H2o,

I haven't mined at your pool since September 9th but am still carrying this balance:

1F42UkqxjWio8zDfNQDQMUHaNfA9ypv65i          0.04390409    0.01542431    0.00034009    17.27845351

Will it ever get exchanged and paid to me?

I've fixed most of the stuck coins today. There's still some left I'm working on.
