Get on a new exchange before cryptopia fucks you over.

I am mining your coin these days! And every freakin day i find a new coin delisted there with some bad excuse like broken chain or some other shit. From the outside i can see that the only problem is the attitude on the exchange.

Well, Phoenixcoin is 5 years old and has never had a broken chain since my takeover. If they have any issue with the wallet, I'm always ready to help. PXC was one of the first coins listed by Cryptsy and, later, by Cryptopia. Here's the tweet: https://twitter.com/Cryptopia_NZ/status/583085700943200256

I remember the times when they were a small exchange running a few dozen of coins. There are over 600 coins now and I realise very well what it takes to keep'em all in a good order. I recall Cryptsy had half as many coins listed in their heyday and they had their maintenance work done far worse.

I don't think anyone here knows what Cryptsy is, or remembers the guy with the longest chain (Big Vern). lol

Anyway, thanks for the great job supporting this coin all these years.

No surrender, no retreat, no regret.
Pixie Coin has the same ticker, as PXC!
How can we fix it?

I doubt they can get listed by a reputable exchange under this ticker which we have been using for the past 5 years.

No surrender, no retreat, no regret.
Why is it not a problem anyway Ghostlander?

Because most blocks are empty or nearly empty. No need to increase size limits.

I appear to be the main miner on the planet mining Phoenix coin...
I was just wondering Ghostlander, do you have any exciting developments coming out for Phoenix coin?
Am I the last of the true believers?
Can you give me just a flicker of a flame or has the Phoenix died?

v0.7 is a work in progress. I'll make an announcement when it's ready for beta testing.

Are there any Blocksize limitations? And if so, will the blocksize be increased once the blocks become full or will PXC end up unusabel like Bitcoin Core?

The blocks are rather empty even with the current limit. Not a problem anyway.

The fact that the Phoenixcoin does not depend on expensive hardware and is successfully generated with the help of widely available video cards and processors gives users a chance to easily earn this coin.

@ghostlander

Is http://explorer.phoenixcoin.org down?  I noticed it last night, tried multiple devices and networks.  I'm happily mining Phoenixcoin, my 1080ti's seem to like it a lot.

Sherman

The VPS it was hosted on has expired and I have decided not to renew it. All services except the block explorer have already been moved elsewhere.

Hello Ghostlander
Does PXC support 0-conf like Bitcoin Cash? If so, how safe is it to use?

It does. PXC hasn't adopted Replace-By-Fee, therefore once a transaction is broadcast, it cannot be replaced. Although it's still recommended to wait for 1 confirmation at least.

I want to know What's supply at now for PXC?  Nearly some years ago I pleaded to have the max cap cut back but it didn't get any traction.  either way, hopefully something really is going on here...

The total supply remains 98 million as set in 2013. You can check the current supply with a block explorer.

Back in days, none of exchanges that were badly hacked realy managed to recover, besides MtGox and MintPal that never recovered there are still running but almost abandoned Vircurex and Bter.
