I'm quite a fan of the pool for development funding, an excellent way for people to show their support for the future of Pyrite. Thanks for 2018, and here is to a successful 2019!

I'll be setting up an "official" pool with a 3% mining fee that will go towards outside development/bounties/exchange listings and what not. I think it's a much better option than taxing block rewards, even though it's been suggested in discord.

That sgminer fork does not support solo mining at this moment. Just stay with pool or set up your own pool.

I've got the pool working good now, but trying to solo is still giving my HW errors.  I'm using the default .bat file, just changing the pool and port to local wallet.  And of course my user name and password.  Windows 10, 18.6 drivers, vega 64s.

Can you post your command line arguments how you are trying to run it? Also is it on linux or windows and the drivers version.

I'm getting HW errors on both solo and pool.  They go away if I drop the intensity way down, but then I'm only getting about 3MHs per vega.  My 1070's are running 450MH with ccminer.

Those still running version 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 are advised to update soon. Next version (1.0.4) and those who build from the current source won't be able to connect to you, or rather, you won't be able to connect to the majority of active nodes.
They have to upgrade their wallets if don't want to stay on wrong chains and got massively continous orphan blocked found.

Yes, that's the idea. There is still some time though. Just giving a notice so there is no surprise later on.

Are you trying to solo mine or pool?

Anyone else getting HW errors on AMD miner?  Any fix?

It would be advised to spread out hashrate between 2 or 3 pools that we have available. Unless you're solo mining, which is still possible...

New version released. Please update. https://github.com/pyritepirate/pyrite/releases

The new additions are appreciated. I like the consistent progress and see more people coming around. Looking forward to what comes next for Pyrite.

Interesting coin with a different approach. I will throw a rig on it. Good luck!

Thanks. We have a discord channel where things are much busier than here (https://discord.gg/NJajNNx).
