This coin has enormous potential! The finer emission curve, transparent launch, solid foundations and clear motivated developer/s have attracted me.
To see all the positive work going on here gives me great confidence as an investor. You may not see it now, but once the branding presents this gem in the light, she will shine like a diamond. Buying and mining during early development has great potential for early adopters.
I own considerable portions of all the cryptonote coins and I have great feelings towards future developments and community relations.
However, I am appalled by the behaviour of certain Monero community members. I have witnessed senior members display childish jealousy, conducting themselves as trolls across the QCN forums and trade threads. I would like to see this stop, for the benefit of cryptonote and what it stands for.

Rewards got halved to 4.5 instead of 8.5?
Normally it's 8.5, but some blocks are odd numbers.. not sure why, maybe too fast penalty or smth

well... it seems minutes after I complain here, things start to work :S, just received 0.14 coins :/, maybe more will come :/

It takes over 2 hours for the coins to mature.. I think you might be overemphasizing a bit
If there was some way to "see" unconfirmed transactions it will be much better - like MinersGate, I'm so used to seeing "unsonfirmed" transfers that simply got nervous
Is there how-to check via blockchain, I'm not sure what to look for?

Your browser probably had lost connection, try a full reload next time it gets suspicious.

This pool is stealing
I guess due to anonymous nature of the coin, I can't point you to the blockchain and prove that you've been paid. But if people trust the pool with that amount of hash, I guess they're getting paid.
