Don't use "localhost" as it seems old qora client can't handle IPv6/dual-stack.
Don't use the qora client's console as it has a bug if your seed starts with a digit

Of course you need the QORA client running and synced. There may be a dialog pop up that you need to click Yes to continue.

Also, If you're running Windows, then you can try this:
1. open a command prompt, e.g. by pressing Windows key & 'R' then typing "cmd", might also work in PowerShell
2. type in this command: bitsadmin /transfer myDownloadJob /download /priority normal http://127.0.0.1:9085/addresses/seed/QYbNCSCMGwXcdVoPd6CPZNS5DiiJ7K6JqK %USERPROFILE%\Downloads\my-address-seed.txt
Obviously replace QYbNCSCMGwXcdVoPd6CPZNS5DiiJ7K6JqK with your own qora address
and you can replace %USERPROFILE%\Downloads\my-address-seed.txt with somewhere else to save the seed, e.g. C:\ if you don't want to save it into your "Downloads" folder

Yes, and if you have Qora you don't need to be a Node to get it just import the keys. I saw screenshots and it looks very easy and straight forward. The nodejs does all API locally from what I have learned, and the 12 word phrase or seedphrase would be encrypted in a local file that you create a password on, so even if you use a weak password for the File someone would need the file plus the weak password to ultimately gain access. No need to remember a long phrase but you can use that to get your account back as a backup and do a personal encryption on it by adding fake words only you know the positions of.

Apologies for not updating here as much as I do in Discord...

The new launch date is Feb 2, 2020

Also, we are doing something that hasn't been done before regarding the launch. I am going to be posting the actual QORT ANN very soon, I've been behind with device builds, etc.

We are going to do a pre-launch with a live main net chain, that will then auto-update to Genesis at a decided date. At this point the pre-launch chain will start Feb 2, and the Genesis will be pushed Feb 20th. But the second date is not 100%. First date I'm 99% sure we are going to be able to hit.

I will come back here soon with more updates, have to go out of my house at the moment, but I keep forgetting to update here so I wanted to do that.

AT THIS POINT OVER 55 DEVICES HAVE BEEN ORDERED, AND YES, ORDERS ARE STILL BEING TAKEN.
