Let’s start with a brief introduction of Qredit for our new community members


The Qredit blockchain platform first launched in January 2018 as a token on the Neblio platform.  Following the ICO, Qredit migrated to its own native blockchain forked from the Ark codebase and was launched in August 2018.

Qredit aims to become a leading blockchain platform for individuals, developers and companies of all sizes.

We are focussed on creating a revolutionary platform that allows anyone to access blockchain technology and cryptocurrency without prior knowledge

With Qredit you can easily transfer assets from one person to another without a middleman (payment processor). You can use Qredit for more advanced utilities, such as creating your own tokens on the mainnet blockchain or create your own apps while benefiting from the low-cost and efficient technology of the Qredit blockchain, maintained by a group of delegates securing the network.

Qredit runs on Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) technology with 51 delegates.

This technology makes Qredit fast, with 8-second block times and extremely environmentally friendly when comparing it to Proof of Work blockchains requiring a significant amount of power to secure the network.  This makes Qredit decentralized and very secure making it a lot more resilient to network attacks.

What is QAE?

QAE stands for ‘Qredit Always Evolving’ and it’s the token protocol built on the Qredit Blockchain.

QAE allows users to create their own token with advanced features such as burning, minting and transferring token contracts to new users.  A detailed guide on how to create your first token using the Desktop Wallet is available on http://docs.qredit.network/qae/token-interaction.html
For advanced users, we also offer API’s to interact with QAE nodes.

QAE will be available in 3 different types, providing you with everything you need to start your own project.

QAE-1 is already available, QAE-2 and QAE-3 are currently under development and will be available early 2020

As existing Qredit users already know, Qredit is a project made possible by the company named Hodler Enterprises, which is also in control of the Altilly Exchange.

Altilly is a digital asset exchange focussed on transparency, with a friendly user interface and a fast and efficient trade engine.

By being in control of both projects, Hodler Enterprises aims to create its own ecosystem by providing all the tools needed to set up, run and maintain a blockchain solution, under one umbrella.
Altilly uses Qredit as its own native exchange currency, providing all services with the use of Qredit.  Altilly allows you to trade with Qredit as a base market and all services such as listing and advertising fees can be paid using Qredit (XQR).

With the launch of QAE-1, we have made it possible for Altilly users to create their own QAE-1 token on the Qredit Blockchain directly within the Exchange platform. This functionality will also be available via the Qredit Desktop App.

On top of that, all coin developers are eligible to list their QAE-1 assets for free on the Altilly Exchange, as long as they meet the Altilly basic listing requirements specified on this page: https://www.altilly.com/page/listingpolicy
Altilly Exchange offers a lot more features for coin developers such as mining pools, the AltillyPass, airdrops and faucets, with more features to come.


What’s next for Qredit?

Altilly has been approved for both an exchange and banking license. This will allow us to continue the development of Qredit Motion.  Qredit Motion will create a stable token using QAE-1 to allow any Qredit user to exchange their asset to a stable or fiat currency with a click on a button. More details to follow. Once we have integrated Qredit Motion, we are going to work on the Desktop and Mobile apps and focus on merchants and consumers.

Merchants and consumers will be able to use Qredit Wave, the advanced NFC and Mobile technology that allows any user to enable their NFC device or mobile phone to send and receive Qredit or tokens via the Qredit Blockchain.

Are there any projects already working on the Qredit Blockchain?

During the development of QAE-1 the team heavily tested the solution and have already migrated some projects from Neblio NTP-1 and Ethereum ERC-20 to Qredit QAE-1.
Qredit Valkyrie supports projects using the Qredit Blockchain or projects that have forked from the Qredit Blockchain.
