We're fixing some things on this still, but here's a working beta version that I think a lot of people reading this thread will appreciate.

More updates soon to come… http://quarkexplorer.com

Hi all I need some Help/Links on how to setup Quark Miner on my Laptop (Windows Pro 8 64bit) I have McAfee on and have trouble loading it on....I don't see the exes on unzipping (File: quark_cpuminer-2.3.2_w64.zip) I tried to exempt the folder from AV....but doesn't seem to work. Is there a step by step tutorial? I'd love someone to make a tutorial with pictures....so much better than streams of text. At some stage I would like to get it on my Rasp Pi! Thanks for your help....I miss my easy Windows. I have a good CPU Intel Core i7 3632QM 2.20gh- 3.19gh. Thanks in advance....want to get mining the Crazy Quarks!

Just mined 1 Quark on my CPU. Should I continue mining or should I just purchase them with BTC and just flip them?

Same here. I think I am gonna quit mining QRK. I feel it is kinda surreal when at the start at this thread people mined about 100k coins (Mind you, that is 12 BTC at 0.00012, that is $12.000!) in a matter of minutes while it took me 24 hour to get a whopping 7 QRK.
Meh thats crypto Cheesy…..

I myself mined 0 QRK. Every single one of them has been bought, at all different peaks and valleys too..

Try buying some coins, it may really enhance your experience…

Isn't this the blockexplorer? http://explorer.andarazoroflove.org/quark/block_crawler.php
Seems to be up to me.

http://coinmarketcap.com/ will probably add Quark back very soon.

Thank you for the explanation, with this lag is really difficult to understand what's happening.
I though someone got the zeros wrong ;-)

And someone is buying    2000 quarks at 0.001 at Cryptsy  Shocked

not at 0.001, anyway these quarks will be bought at ~0.00011. It is just order to be sure that its owner will get coins first from all (but it's not fact due to Cryptsy lags )

Thanks to the block explorer, the prices are down.

We need a cluster for this.

It's being dumped big time at the moment on cryptsy. I wonder why.

Maybe it is buying before large pump? Tongue

who look at Source code that or other crypto coin?

As I know of a university programing maximal type variable in C++ is long double.

Can be so that with increasing difficulty (power network) variable in the code that is responsible for it exceeds own type and code just crash?
May it be or not? i dont look a source code.

i am not a panic. just interesting.

i very like english. but it's my second lang

The current difficulty is 4 digits, and I don't think it'll ever exceed that. long double can hold insanely long value.

I think the owner of the site: http://coinmarketcap.com/ doesn't like Quarkcoin, why would it just magically disappear from the list?

yep, he sure is not in favour of quarkcoin.  (jk)

But his website is also dependend on many outside sources.
Why doesn't he just run a daemon of every coin on his server (instead of external blockexplorers) and get the number of coins with command line getblockcount or moneysupply and then do a little math (block segmentation etc)?
He then only has to multiply it with a weighted price from different exchanges (all have api) and get the marketcap.

That's what I am preparing guys, looking forward to present it to you in a few days.;-)

That's fantastic news, can't wait for this to come out!!!

I think there's a problem with QRK atm, that's why they removed it from the list.

OR,

Not sure, might sound stupid, but it can be related to the ''scam coin'' topic which is out there.

Both wrong, it's the blockexplorer that is down.
