My i7 3630QM in my laptop has been pulling in 4 to 5 blocks a day, but I ran the miner for a day on an older dual quadcore xeon server I was setting up for a friend without hitting a single block. I shut it off because I couldn't take the noise, but I'm giving it back to him tomorrow. Maybe he'll have more luck with it than I did. Laptop is still kicking ass though.

hashespersec ~168-72k on AMD A10-5700 APU

hashespersec ~43-47k on DigitalOcean slowest VPS.

What's are your numbers guys?
If QRK was worth more or had services that accepted it, i'd surely run a lot of those VPS.

I'm enjoying solo mining - my core2-quad q6600 still finds about a block day, or couple of days - which I consider a bonus because i'm GPU mining other stuff at the same time. I also have an 8-core 8350 - that does roughly 2 blocks a day.

That's with 3 cores used on the q6600, and just 6 on the 8350.

I think I was getting about $1.00 worth a day with three i5s (ypool) and costing more than that to run them.

i think you should get a bit more than this? with 3 x i5

i guess depends on which i5

3570?

that is 2-3 blocks?  then again i guess some days that is about what i have

how does the diff actually work on this i mean 300+ diff on most coins means solo is impossible and yet on this one 300 and you can still solo a few blocks per day?

with prime even diff 10 = impossible.

what diff would solo on a normal i5 be impossible to get a block even per week?

Dear owner of QuarkCoin.Org

Please update the logos and graphics on the website to the ones from the previous post.

if you check the quarkcoin logo design thread I have suggested this
as developer likes it also and others ahve said they are good, myself also

although it wont be 'official' design, as developer needs to give green light but trying different ideas right now

bottomline quark community say if they LOVE

i am just getting a forum for quark together so will be easier for people to have their say in one place

Also: if you take your hashespersec and divide it by 1,000 you get your kh/s. So my 500,000 - 600,000 HPS is ~500 to ~600 kh/s.
Well that's only logical  Cheesy

I wonder if it's possible to find out the network hashespersec.

I don't know how, but the difficulty should correlate to network hash right?

If some bright spark here could enlighten us Smiley

K.
I think it's definently possible now. We just need someone who is good with a calculator  Cheesy
