This coin has more problems with the connections than any other coin. I've never seen anything like this.

I've used like 20 other wallets and coins, and Quarkcoin is the only coin I've ever used that won't connect. All the other coins work perfectly.

Don't tell me to addnode the IP's. I've done that. It still doesn't work.

You've messed up something with the networking code that none of the other coins have messed up.

I can't get Quark to work on 3 out of 4 of my computers, and I finally gave up after trying for a while.
Why did you remove UPnP support?

Have you tried opening the port listed on the first page, on your router

"Please open port 11973 on your router"

This solved the problem for me.

If it doesn't sync blocks, or speed was too low, one block at a time. Let's try remove quarkcoin conf folder, re-make conf file, then run from the start. It worked for me.

The diff. is actually decreasing. I found a block when the diff. was over 140.xxxx

I see here comes Mister Quarkcoin.
I have a question. 2 days I was trying to fix the problem with the connections
now it works for me! BUT 51,200 coins immature and impassable confirm them!
I do not want to lose 51,200 coins. What should I do??

Did you try turn off and on your PC?  Cheesy

Yeah! First block minted Smiley
Code:
"category" : "immature",
"amount" : 2048.00000000,

quarkcoin, can you please explain how to calculate difficulty and miner reward? Any algorithm we could use? I wonder to know how fast I will mine a block with 4-core CPU at current difficulty of 83.

The best is probably to see how long it takes to mine say 10 blocks. Divide reward by number of minutes, then divide by the average difficulty over that period, and then divide by your GHz processing power, that will give you reward per minute per difficulty point per GHz. Do the opposite to calculate your estimated reward.

I not mined even a single block, yet Smiley Still waiting.
BTW:
Code:
"connections" : 16
difficulty" : 124.01564152

You may have to put
dnsseed=0

in the config file. It worked for me.

still no connection.. damn ! those two comps I use are on different IP-s (one is remote), win firewall exception added, port opened on both routers..never had any problem with any other wallet..

I did not open the port up of do anything other than add a quarkcoin.conf file into the appdata folder.
