Cool. Yeah, there is nothing there. But I got a little further:
I ran this command:

openssl enc -d -p -aes-256-cbc -a -in Quark-wallet-keys-09-11-17 -out privatekeys.txt -pass pass:*********

and then I got values for:

SALT:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
KEY:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
IV:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
plus a whole lot of error messages and shit

but then when I try to load the importprivkey into the qt-client I get

Invalid private key encoding (code -5)

Hello. I also got into Quark in 2013 and am very excited about all these recent developments. I have my quarks in the android wallet and I have hit a wall trying to export the private key(s), so I can import it into v10.4.5. I haven't seen a guide thus far.

So here's where I stand: I saved my wallet with a simple password, moved it to a Linux computer and ran the command:
/usr/bin/sudo /usr/bin/openssl enc -d -aes-256-cbc -a -in Quark-wallet-keys-XX-XX-XX -out wallet.txt -k password;

I get some response about
iv undefined

Also any other general information. How long is the key, 58 or 62 characters? What letter does it start with? etc.
Thanks so much in advance, I am so ridiculously happy about quark's prospects!

Hello, folks! I'm an old owner of Quarks since 2013.
I wonder when new Quark with all this new features will be released?
Will it be a hardfork or just a new version? I've seen GitHub activity, it looks pretty dead...
I'm thinking of sell half of my quarks.

I wish Quark's price will reach 1$ by the end of year 2017, just a very tiny wish...!
If we take out the recent high, maybe...  Kiss

Yea I have no idea what was causing the issue. Eventually I just gave up and downloaded the blockchain on another computer and moved the wallet.dat over, that seemed to fix it. It did show the transaction still, I just had to double spend before it loaded the false one in the blockchain, now it's all fine.

That is correct, I sent a transaction with the outdated version and it says it has 50k+ confirmations, however if I search up the transaction on the block chain it didn't happen.

I've downloaded the latest version of (10.4.5) and imported the old wallet and it's still showing the incorrect balance. I have rescanned and it still shows the incorrect balance. I even deleted and redownloaded the blockchain. I don't know what to do. The payment was not actually sent even though it claims to have confirmations, as a check on the blockchain will show. Yet my wallet claims the funds are gone.

I sent a transaction with a corrupted blockchain and the transaction says it was sent on my client and has confirmations, but it was not sent. If I look up the blockchain reciept for the transaction it doesn't exist, and if I check the wallet I sent from, it still has the coins, but my wallet.dat says I do not have them.

I've tried rescanning, reindexing, deleting and redownloading, but my wallet always says the coins are sent. How can I recover them since the wallet actually has them according to the blockchain?

After the fork what would happen with an out of sync wallet?

Will the coins be available on POS or will I need to be in sync first?

I have just compile the wallet for Linux from source code.

Could I learn the rpcport and p2pport number ?
I also need addnode=

I have to create "quarkd.conf" file and put rpcuser and rpcpassword on it to run the deamon.
