ASK
Hey Piggy. I remember you from the early days of RVN in the discord channel. Hope your doing well.

Anyways, this project seems to be addressing the consistent issue of scaling many popular chains are having.

With a fair launch, good mining, and a 5% founders fee, this coin doesn't come off like a shit-coin. Not to mention a unique algo.

Color me interested. Will be watching. Best of luck !

I'm just starting to read about this project and I found out there is now premine, as it boldly states on first page of this thread.
However, there is 5% founder's fee. Can someone please explain the difference between premine and founder's fee?

Very simple, a premine is a pile of coins the developers mine for themselves in the genesis block so they have them before anyone else, this tends to incentivize dumping and early cashing out, followed by abandonment or some other form of scam.
DevFee is a % of the blockreward going to an account under developer control so they have a stablish budget for development. But we paid out the first two months of developer fee as bounties for participants from the testnet.

op if i may suggest something, can you post any updates related to your coin in bitcointalk too ? I think it would be easier for people like me to keep track of events, airdrops, development etc by reading updates here too while reading and writing in various topics of the forum.

Oh i see, welldone ! I will keep mining this coin and hoping for the best.

Market over saturated with going nowhere coins and tokens.
Dont be surprised if all your mining gets you nothing but electricity bills.

I sold all my mining gear and bought top coins and tokens....  Much better

An ADM 3900 makes about 3x on RTM compared to Randomx atm so I don't know about that  Grin

i can see that but i was searching to mine with cpu something new with future potential and i saw better earnings than other cpu coins in this. it is in early stages and my thought is to mine it before it gets more difficult. who knows, maybe it will be a good bet maybe not. the future will show as always. i also monitor their discord channel and i see devs and founders talking and helping people. this seems to me as a good sign.

It seems there are lots of issues Compiling this on Linux even using the Depends Instructions.  It fails at the end.  The Miner does not work for Linux either as using the pre-built Linux Raptoreum the ./raptoreumd daemon does not work only the QT Raptoreum works.

It's possible to use Raptoreum on Linux but it seems not much participation is possible otherwise.

This must be a Windows only coin to Mine?

I cannot Bump this Coin Project anymore, however the Ghostrider Algo is very Unique and it is something to hold onto probably.

I am using MX-Linux.

It's confirmed good and working on Ubuntu 18, 20, Debian as well as a couple of Aarch/Manjaroo versions if you hop on the Discord, we can probably figure out what's needed to get it up and running on MX-Linux.

I do care diddly-squat whats working and whats not. Fit of exasperation I had this morning has grown into dogged unstoppable rage with periods of high susceptibility to stimulant usage. I can say I do not care about anything going on around the world. I also requested that Raptoreum be legally incorporated and available to institutional interest as a corporate-rate instrument. Why has not that happened?

We won't be setting up a foundation till travel restrictions clear as to what institutional investors can and can not buy that is a lot more dependent on where they are operating from than how we are set up. If you have someone specific in mind please have them contact me and we can see if we can work out a temporary solution for them.

Well, what I said was from the Binance CEO himself from a Youtube Livestream.

And Binance has the best Exchange Fees around they are #1 for a reason.  = % 0.1 Fees

But SouthXchange.com is a good exchange, it will grow bigger!  % 1 Fees = Very High Fees!

And I guess bribing might work, but I don't think I believe you about it costing 200,000 dollars Bribe Fee to list something on Binance.

Either way I will support Raptoreum, it's a cool project!  But it seems that which Exchange something starts out listed on gives a lot of Poker Tells about it's Origins a lot more if there is not much New Source Code written!

I actually like SouthXchange.com the best first choice!

Second Choice, would be Binance, Huobi, or Kucoin for Liquidity but I think Binance is the best exchange for Liquidity.  There are good reasons why they are #1

Binance cannot announce who they sign a contract to list!  Developers have to sign NDA contracts with Binance to prevent Front Running traders!

What are you rumbling about? If the only concern is binance listing then that would set you back $200000. Pay and they will have you all set up. You pay and the next day your coin lands on the exchange. Simple. No agreements, contracts, headache. Binance though can reserve the right to list coins of their preference for free, however take a note, theyve never added XYM. That alone is a major disaster. I dont think you even need to be listed.
