Don't bullshit; I for one know that Chris! is very honest, and am quite sure that his ban isn't appropriate thus people are being censored. ASICs/FPGAs took over a short few months after the fork, as expected, and no real solutions have been presented. The best idea is yet another hardfork to X algo because "it's ASIC resistant".
Taking the Monero approach is a terrible idea, but what do I know? I'm just some banned guy from rvn discord.

I've been banned few times for asking uncomfortable questions. If you start doing this the moderators say you are spreading FUD and you are out and banned. Of course it's not like that everywhere.

The project is heavily (completely) centralized with Medici paid devs. Mining has been and will be taken over by ASICs for the foreseeable future and I've got no reason to hang around. they don't want to hear about grin's model of embracing ASICs because "the whitepaper".
