So tghe devs are just AWOL, or incompetnent?
Maybe he's having trouble fixing the PoS issue in the wallet.

Less than 500 blocks remaining until switch to PoS.
Explorer wallet is stuck at 124999 here ("version" : 1000000), and getpeerinfo seems to indicate everyone is also at 124999 (or not connecting)
Any ideas?

Yes RBY is going PoS at block 125k.
Untill that time you can still mine rubycoin.
Ok, I have a merged mining pool that has RBY as the main coin. Check it at http://sigwo.x64.me. I'll leave it until block 125k, then a different main coin will take it's place. Thanks.

You can send it to a wallet for staking when you get access. I don't have an exact date for that, but it's next on my list.
