This is absolutely true, the ICO limits are not set in stone. For example, it's entirely possible that we'll lower our maximum cap.

For reddit, we're more active on the r/Ethtrader and r/Ethereum reddits, though we also participate in a few others. Simply google them and take a look. I know it's hard to follow all the material, so I'd say don't bother; When you study, go DEEP on the subject so that you can appreciate new information when it comes out. That way you can also get to know the community, which is a lot of fun!

Its too early to advise people to buy the ICO, unless you are heavily invested in Presale, and now want to attract as much people as you can, so they buy ICO at much less attractive price .
Lets see first if this team can deliver anything convincing. And btw the ICO limits are not set yet, as the dev stated above.

How many tokens will Santiment have?

2000 is not very big, but please notice that it's ~16.67% of presale.

Santiment ICO will have limits! 500-1500btc. So it will be cheap ICO and will be sold fast.
With capitalisation of [500-1500btc + presale ~155btc (12k ETH) = only 655-1655btc], it will be very atractive.
With low cap token can go x10 in value, it's hard to do with high cap.
My tip for people who don't have presale shares is to buy ICO 1 second after crowdsale start.

Iconomi has invested santiment, but only 2000 eth, if the ico goes big, its market cap won't go very high, every investment is risky, therefore we need to due diligence.

While I can follow new Bitcointalk threads to find promising project, I cannot imagine what you would mean by reading blog and slack..? One cannot read all the crypto blogs in internet or all join all the teams existing on Slack. And which reddit group is good for finding new crypto projects?
