I chose the name The Grand Bazaar because surely the camel was going somewhere...
In this metaphor he is going to load up with goods at the bazaar before he heads back out on the next long journey up the crypto ranks.. Enjoy and please pm me to be added.
We will fix this together under the silk veil of unity.
The Camel Marches On.
nzminer i just realized discussion with you is pointless, you are probably 12 and dont understand "crypto" at all.
You may ask why use seperate blockchains, well perhaps some people just want to use the main silk platform and not engage in trading, the separate blockchains could store the extra data required in the online trading, social networking side of things, IDK. The devs will have a better idea on this.
yes please leave all the "ideas" to the devs.
the reason it "hasn't been done before" is because it makes no sense whatsoever,
and..
silkcrypto is a horrible name,
...we can not have a different blockchain for each commodity, that meant everytime you wanted a new item in a new "commodity" section you would create a whole new coin, new blockchain = new coin. so it's not even silkcoin anymore...
altho there is already a potcoin and cryptometh, so maybe you are on to something
and of course ...
the implied myth behind silkcoin was there would be a silkroad type marketplace with anon features that would accept silkcoin...
of course this could probably never be built into the block chain as they described... it was a nice dream, and someone could still pull off a decentralized market of some kind that indeed does use silkcoin as the currency .., anything is possible.
but if i was you, and i am sure as hell glad i am not, i would look into CLOAKcoin's proposed p2p decentralized marketplace that will accept CLOAKcoin .. called CLOAKmarket..... https://twitter.com/CryptoPioneer/status/483297316976078848
maybe it will be a scam too. but it looks promising so far, whitepaper to come out soon..
i will keep holding my silk, i hope something happens with it, besides a bunch of 12 year olds renamaking it silky the camel-my first internet monies.
arteleis, the original silk road was a magical place where dreams came true, of course the implied reference with silkcoin was to this original marketplace, complete with a camel as it's symbol.
... not that it matters as it turned out to be a scam.
i hope the dream still comes alive.. or at least silkcon gets some value again.
so yea, nzminer, it seems you are the one that missed the point... as all i was saying is, all these ideas are pointless for a broken coin. why bother changing the name, go home.
you and arteleis are making this thread into an embarrassment, no one is going to want to save this coin if you two have anything to do with it.
