Yeah there was no fucking premine, I started mining it at block 11...

Yes, look at the block explorer, dev mined at least 50991 coins, which is in this account:
http://cryptexplorer.com/address/MTPLCNK3pZkE1UCNpyCNuWTcpnDbPFB2Pp

this is where the first block coin transferred to. Grin

What a shame to see such hugely instamined coin:

Quote
int BlockCountA = 5000;
   int BlockCountB = 300000;
   if (nHeight >= BlockCountA * 22)
   {
      nSubsidy = 60 * COIN;
      nSubsidy >>= ((nHeight - (BlockCountA * 22)) / (BlockCountB)); // Subsidy is cut in half every 300000 blocks
   }

   else if (nHeight >= BlockCountA * 6) { nSubsidy = 75 * COIN; }
    else if (nHeight >= BlockCountA * 5) { nSubsidy = 80 * COIN; }
   else if (nHeight >= BlockCountA * 4) { nSubsidy = 130 * COIN; }
   else if (nHeight >= BlockCountA * 3) { nSubsidy = 210 * COIN; }
   else if (nHeight >= BlockCountA * 2) { nSubsidy = 320 * COIN; }
   else if (nHeight >= BlockCountA) { nSubsidy = 500 * COIN; }
   else { nSubsidy = 1950 * COIN; }

What does this mean?
1st 5000 blocks: 1950 coins per block, mined by dev and his friends
2nd 5000 blocks: 500 coins per block, by dev and early adopters
3rd 5000 blocks: 320 coins per block, again early people

come on, while this dev bashed hard on some small premined coins (like Elephantcoin) before, he himself started to create a shitcoin and try to hide all his premines, what is a shame to you bholzer!

lol, hugely disgraced. I could go to Elephantcoin thread, and copy his lengthy paragraph against premine here, would fit well here.

lmao, integrity does not mean much for someone.... I won't say one thing and do another thing.

what a garbage coin!

Yes agree, I hate this guy what he did in Elephantcoin thread. Now he has his own shitcoin, what a joke!

The DEV invited everyone on this forum and others to start mining the coin and there was a 1 block pre-mine.  I don't understand the problem?

The Murraycoin Project ▪ Lead Developer
(Note: if anybody is curious, flyingcat and sam53 are the same people. This individual has about a dozen accounts.)

The difference between Murraycoin and Elephantcoin is that with Elephantcoin, a massive portion of the coins were premined. It killed the value of the coin because when Cryptsy finally added it, the dev dumped their premined coins and drove the value down to (virtually) nothing. The distribution was awful and the developer did nothing with the premined coins to help the community -- they hoarded every last one until it was time to dump. Also, at the time, the Elephantcoin dev was cranking out new coins every couple weeks. They would make a new account, release the coin, and disappear as soon as it hit the exchange and they dumped. Go look at the Elephantcoin thread and you will realize everything I said was true. I stopped keeping up with their junk coins...but odds are they continue to run the same scam.

With Murraycoin, none of us on the dev team started mining until 3rd parties started finding blocks. We premined 1950 Murraycoins and have already given away over 20,000. The difficulty adjusted every 36 blocks to avoid a massive instamine -- if you want to talk about an instamine, look at Ron Paul Coin. The difficulty was still "0" at block 500 -- now it's around 80. We're approaching 5 days in and there are still 1950 blocks out there -- there are over 100 registered users at the FusionHash pool alone.

Obviously I've been mining Murraycoin since shortly after launch...but the difficulty has kept up nicely and there are still 1950 blocks out there! We front-loaded the reward because we look at early miners as investors -- if they have a stake in the coin, they will help promote and grow the coin. We publicly announced Murraycoin here, on IRC, and several other places before we started mining. Nobody was stopping anybody from mining (and we still aren't!) -- Murraycoin network speed and difficulty peaked about 1/4 of the way through the 1950 blocks.

Obviously you guys are angry that I called out the Elephantcoin dev and asked them to give some of the premined coins back to the community...but it's pretty ridiculous to hold a grudge for this long. Also, what you are saying is simply untrue. Why would we set the difficulty to adjust every 36 blocks if we wanted to instamine the coin? We want an even distribution...while allowing the early adopters (the biggest risk-takers) an advantage.

Murraycoin was designed to be a fair, fun coin that will benefit the entire altcoin community and beyond. I have no issue with the developers of a coin getting something back out of it -- it's a lot of work to develop and promote a quality altcoin. To liken Murraycoin to the pump-and-dump premine scams like Elephantcoin is not only erroneous, it's downright ignorant.

We're approaching 5000 blocks in and I actually hold a pretty small percentage of minted Murraycoins -- Perhaps you should get your facts straight before taking a shot at one of the only honest coins we've had recently.

Either you're with Murraycoin...or you're kicking yourself later; I can't make that decision for you.

You misunderstood his statement. There are boundaries needed to be respect. Bill Murray is a nice guy and a great actor, but just because of that, doesn't mean you want to take advantage of him. The guy made this is not doing it not in his tribute but profiting off his back, a classic grade A douche-bag move.

By the same skew logic, if there is no boundary, if you see someone's wife on the street, just because she has a few holes and 2 legs does not mean she is yours.

While it is not against the law he can do what he wants.

It is against the law you idiot . You seen what happened to Coiyne or are you just turning blind eyes?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personality_rights  check out the United States section
http://www.dmlp.org/legal-guide/using-name-or-likeness-another

Someone can actually damage this person by recording his node IP and report it to the lawyer. This is exploitation without consent. What now idiots? Also, people at RonPaulCoin got away with it because Ron Paul himself said he was ok with it. If he realized they were not "endorsing" but "profiting" of his back, guess what will happen?

Sorry dude, but its specialy your, usa trouble. I know at least 150 another countrys. And noone care around me about shit like "rights" "law". Also i know at least 2 country, there living 1/3 of peoples on earth, where realy noone care.

No mac wallet?

Mac wallet will be released shortly (we are adding additional checkpoints and will simultaneously release the updated wallet for all 3 platforms.) If you already have the Windows wallet this update will be strictly optional.

Some cool stuff in the works for Android as well...
