SXC port is 9560 not 9333, maybe you should delete all files except wallet.dat and download QT client at 1st post of this thread.

Was just doing this as I read your post. After a re-sync, that appears to have fixed it. No idea how that happened. I'll have to keep watching it ... may be due to me running BTC and LTC wallets as well.

Thanks guys
It's strange problem but restart QT should fixed it. I notified Chinsu regarding this bug.

Funny, I'm having none of this. My client has been running for a couple days now and am still at 13837 blocks. I also have no peers on port 9333 though.

Just for lulz, I removed all of the static nodes I had defined in the .conf file and restarted my client. I'm still connecting to peers on 9333 with the block count.

It's also funny that all the peers on 9333 are reporting ~ the current block count of LTC if I'm seeing it right

Anyone else seeing this in their client?
Because it can't find nodes, i just reset the peer list. Please restart your wallet, problem should be gone.

Total 13600 blocks was solved, 8000 blocks last 5 days, there're lot of people mining SXC now.
We need more pools as well.

I'm holding a few sexcoins.. The reason is I've watched a documentary about changes in the pornography industry by louis theroux.. I also studied the rise of microtransactional business models on the internet as part of my studies...Now lets talk porn..

The porn industry has been experiencing difficulties adjusting to the internet era, much in the same way the music industry had adjustment forced upon it. Copyrighted material is availible for free through peer to peer networks, and through filesharing sites, which reduces the profitability of the endevour.

In the music industry, no customer in their right mind would join a site for a month, to have access to every album produced when all they wanted was a particular song, or the album of a particular artist that takes a few seconds to download. Although inconvienent they would be likely to search peer to peer torrents, or filesharing sites and download the material. This is the business model most providers use in the porn industry.

A microtransactional model would allow the customer to download the material immediately from the provider paying only for the material desired, dramatically reducing the cost in the customers eyes. The medium of a cryptocurrency would provide anonyminity and security to the customer, as well as a greater selection of content across providers if widespread adoption occurs.

Not only would there would be greater convenience for the customer in paying for copyrighted material than using torrents or file shareing sites, but the point of sale could be at promotional webpages as well as the site itself. The currency could have an advantage over traditional cryptocurrencies if the providers of the material also acted as exchanges of fiat for cryptocurrency, which could lead to greater stability and security as there would be no single point of failure, as MTGOX has become in the bitcoin ecosystem.

It is unfortunate that the developers are attempting to follow the traditional path of cryptocurrencies, when they should be promoting the advantages to the industry they have targeted and developing the tools to make adoption a reality.

In short, it's a long shot but it could be bigger than you think, so I wouldn't go dismissing "sexcoins" out of hand.

When trying to run the qt windows client I get an error about libstdc++-6.dll missing. Anyone else had this problem and knows a way to remedy it?

libstdc++-6.dll it must be in the wallet folder.
If it is not there download again the wallet

Strange, I thought I got everything but I guess I missed it. Thanks for the help.

I tested the 2 pools this morning.
1 is down.
The other is incorrectly configured and does not give payouts.
Most likely they just set them up briefly to get the bounties.
