I think it's better to hop coins for the long-term investment. Ya never know. Do you think LTC miners ever imagined them being $4.5 a pop when they were mining in the early days?? ;-)
Yeap, I'm mining LTC on a PPS pool as a default (in case of pool problems,etc) but at the moment I've split my hash power 25% LKY, 50% BBQ, & 25% SXC. I've been playing with the daemon, so I moved my SXC mining on to a dedicated rig where I can start playing with php if the fancy takes me. If SXC ever reaches 0.00001 BTC on an exchange, I've done extremely well
I might move a rig onto DGC if the difficulty decreases, depending on how many coins I have of other sorts and if there is a really profitable coin, I might mine and dump.. You just have to stay flexible
When profitability goes down and miners hop off, I'm happy cos I'm getting more coins to hoard.
