Aliases can't be embedded in the blockchain. We could provide a centralized service where you can send coins only by knowing the person's alias. But even then the transactions have to be mixed and included on the blockchain for it to reach the recipient. But providing alias could give greater anonymity but the time taken would be the same. It can be faster if you choose lesser mixing cycles like 1 or 2. That would take about 10 mins to reach.
This is normal. Just the way anonymity works.

Dev is it possible to send and receive money just by alias. Everybody has unique alias. Don't you think the time taken in this method is too much? If we have to make a fast payment like in a coffee shop, we can't use this method and our financial position will not be a secret anymore.

I am posting an update on our progress:

The client is almost ready for SFRBit, we are now the downloading the entire Bitcoin Blockchain on a separate node that processes SFRBit transactions. In the time it is taking to download the Blockchain, we thought of working on anonymity.

We could very well have our anon feature "SFRSend" alongwith SFRBit in the next wallet update. We can't confirm this yet but we are working on it.

Our implementation of anon is pretty good because we would not be needing a hardfork. The transactions will be anonymized only if you use the wallet not the rpc commands.

Your transaction will be bounced on many nodes thus making it difficult to track the sender. Your amount will also be split to multiple nodes and sent to your destination address in small parts.
All this could take about 1-2 hours for your entire amount to reach the destination. It depends on the amount of cycles you choose to anonymize your transaction. The more cycles you choose, the more difficult it would be to track but would also take longer to reach your destination.

We are thinking of implementing "Stealth disposable addresses" for you to anonymize your transactions. You can use those addresses only once. It is like use and throw.

We can confirm in detail on this only after a few days after we successfully test SFRBit.

Yea I agree. If you do decide to for a moderated thread, I suggest leave a bolded message in the OP that "baseless fud will be deleted"..so people wont accuse the devs and moderators that their posts are being deleted.

Dev one advise that move SFR's thread to moderated thread. For few days I witnessed the worst FUD attack on URO coin, everything baseless but it did harm Urocoin. It seems like established coins pay people to FUD on coins that are threat to their coins. AT last Urocoin's thread was locked by bitcointalk and Urocoin transferred its thread to moderated one but the damage was done. When SFR will become popular many baseless accusations will be put on you and coin. They(FUD) are so shameless that they can do anything from fake code to fake pictures and so on. Its better for us to take precaution in advance and move to moderated thread.As a community we have full trust in you.

Yea you're right. Just non sense, ignorant baseless fud irritates me, especially against honest trasparent devs. This is a sign that we will be on the move soon. Buy support is building. As long as devs and community stays active, its only a matter of time until we get noticed.

Leave it mate. Just another troll. We did give credit to Myriad when we first launched and how we are different is that we listen to the community and develop stuff that is hottest at present and keep on progressing rather than develop something and leave it.
I just wonder why don't we get trolls when we are on the move.

If you dont like the coin, there is no reason for you to post here now is there. The only reason to post negative comments is to either get cheap coins, or because you find this coin a threat to your myriad investment. Stop wasting your time posting negative bullshit on other threads when you can be spending your time being productive and supporting the coins you invested in, thats if you even care. Btw, does myriad have anon messaging, or the multitude of other features that the devs have developed/developing and coded/coding from scratch?

Just another lame Myriadcoin copy. Can't understand why anyone would want to invest in Saffron when MYR has come further along and has a stronger community.
