Hello,

It has been a very long time. Circumstances haven't done well for this token. We had amazing support. We were among the top currencies and it was saddening to see the demise.

However, over these years, we've been building a suite of services to make Saffroncoin the brand it was meant to be. Saffroncoin will be back with a lot more use-cases than random blockchain jargon.

We set the standards for blockchain payments. Our wallet was the most feature-packed wallets back in the day.

We will continue to stick to the goal of increasing crypto adoption in the world and show how one day the world will get tokenised.

To all those, that stuck around, thank you. Your efforts will not go in vain.

I'll be releasing something exciting soon.

Do watch this thread.

Cheers,

Roshan

What about those who lost thousands (if not 10s of thousands, like I did) $ by supporting the coin, mining it and not dumping it back in the days? What if their wallets are now gone? I remember that I had some 200-300k coins which went in the toilet, because you abandoned the project. The fact that you are coming back after years of absence should not make us happy, but even angrier.

I wish you all the best...

Investments are an individual thing. I don't think anybody can be blamed. Investments into all cryptocurrencies or stocks or commodities etc. are an individual choice.
We all lost a lot of money on a lot of different things over the years. The project was never abandoned. There was lack of funding in building a bigger team and I was supporting it as much as I could until it became more than I could handle.
The crypto market is mo mature now and we have the resources to build stronger use-cases.

Yes, you are right, but you can also come out and say that you can no longer support the project, instead of disappear in silence. Probably some of us would have helped.

I've had a high opinion about you, but I believe you shouldn't be trusted. Sorry, but that's the hard cold truth.

Cheers!

Would be great to see some life in SFR, so much potential!

I always liked this coin. Still some nodes working.

addnode=5.9.39.9
addnode=54.255.165.163
addnode=76.118.236.16
addnode=94.23.38.219

At least some of the download links on the archive page also seem to work

I would sponsor a dev willing to work on this. If you know someone who might be up for the task, hit me up on PM.

Can somebody perhaps share active nodes? I've been trying to sync my wallet and check how many coins I had left but it's not working. If somebody can help me it will be great. Thanks so much in advance.

At first, 3 blocks were found. No more...
That's 3 more than you should have wasted a card like that on. This coin is dead, there is no market for it; so mining it is pointless.
Setting that aside, The coin only allows a given number of blocks per algorithm.
Since you're the only one mining it, you're going to have to mine 3 on Blake then switch to mining scrypt, sha256d, groestl, or x11 (which also requires a 2nd wallet running). Mine 3 on that alg and then switch again.
That or get 2 cards and put each one on a different alg.

No need for the second wallet. You can restart the wallet with -algo command line argument.
Yeah, I guess since the coin is dead it makes no matter to go the slowest route possible.  Roll Eyes

In the long run we are all dead... ^_^
