...if you have some spare hash and nothing interesting to mine, feel free to give SFR a go.
I would, but since it has that stupid anti-x blocks in a row per alg feature, it will not let me. Not being listed on any exchange is bad enough, but when the wallet tells miners to go fek themselves, it's totally pointless.  Undecided

So we need to mine 2 algos at least. Which one are you mining? We'll have this sorted out. Dev is back from a business trip next week and website should be up, once the coin is on exchange miners will come and we'll take it from there.

New block explorer is up https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sfr/ I will also pay the fee to add the coin to Cryptopia in 1 or 2 weeks, so if you have some spare hash and nothing interesting to mine, feel free to give SFR a go.

Thanks. It was clarified that the dev still has the domain but does not have the files. What I am looking for is the person who was maintaining the site and has the HTML files.
Given how long the coin has been dead, it's probably best to start from scratch. :/

Any capable developer willing to work on this? PM me price and what you can do for the coin. There are not many multialgo coins and this one had so much potential.
Until, literally, no one wanted to buy it and it was pulled from every market.

Well it was in the same market we were buying $DGB around 20 satoshi. A lot of people are short-sighted.

Our team obtained many of the cryptocurrencies that were frozen on Cryptsy's servers when the exchange collapsed. The SaffronCoin wallet.dat was among those recovered.

We are now in the process of giving these wallet files back to their respective communities. The wallet has not been inspected and it's unknown if it contains any coins. If you are a developer of this coin, or a longstanding community member, you can file a request for the wallet in this thread: https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=3789.0

You are good man ,please PM dev

Oddly I found out its still listed on this exchange: https://bter.com/trade/sfr_btc

it does appear to be dead but you can still mine it on ispace.co.uk , I am gonna try something crazy today, mine it and see if I can revive this on the exchange above today. I have pulled this trick slightly once before and though that exchange up there isn't the best...maybe we can spark life back into this dried up old coin lol.

EDIT: NEVERMIND!!!! Turns out even the above exchange delisted this coin, so I guess there is no hope for this coin anymore....sorry everyone, I tried lol

Good try...

I think if someone can fork this coin and make a new wallet with new road map with some idea, then this coin will be live again and can get it back on exchanges.

I remember the times when scam exchanges like bter were ruling this place. Now they are slowly dying in silence without volume, without anything. We have come a long way, surely. The reason bter removed saffron is because I asked them. I have contacted their support department three times asking to shut this crap down. My mandarin was perfect but theirs was horrible. I have no idea what I told them the first time but instead of delisting saffron they sent me 25 btc for free.

I think if someone can fork this coin and make a new wallet with new road map with some idea, then this coin will be live again and can get it back on exchanges.

Usually the only reason some one does this is to generate a whole new generation of bag holders. I've got a small bag. It's worth zero. Thats the risk of crypto. But if someone wants to revive the coin, someone can have my little bag dumped on them.

If someone has a big enough bag they might do it. But they are probably to busy created pre-mined ICO's for people to invest in.

Brought SAF-chain online/running again.
Made some instances and fired up the chain by solo-mining.
Now take it and make the best out of it.
