I want to mining X11 coins on multipool "x11.greenpool.tk". However, it seems that my sgminer.conf not good. What is wrong?
    -method 1 ( miner is: sgminer-5.0-pre-release-2014-06-25-win32, OS WIN8 64 bit,catalyst is 14.4,graphics cards are:ATI 5850.

 -method 2 (miner is: sgminer-5.0-pre-release-2014-06-25-win32, OS WIN8 64 bit,catalyst is 13.1,graphics cards are: 1 x SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X 7970 + 2 X MSI 7950 + 1 x SAPPHIRE DUAL-X 7950):

on the first one remove the comma on the last entry, and put one on the entry before it
on the second change "kernel" to "algorithm"

Anyone else experiencing 10%+ reject rates when mining keccak?

Drop your specified difficulty?  I don't think mine has been rolling into keccak because of the cost factors yet; seems to be an even split on nicehash between x11 and keccak, must be dependent on people who specified electricity daily costs in their password field.

Hey, gotta problem with my 5x280x rig. Always, after some time, one card will report as DEAD and then i cant close miner after some trying computer totally freezes. Using latest v5 build. stock clocks. Any ideas? Should update to 14.6 driver?
+1. I have this problem too. Trying many configs - 23 hours is the best result, after that 1 card sick->dead.

Stripped out powertune, pulling 4hrs + uptimes on all rigs, no drop in hashrate except -.002 still.

Impressive, Snake.

My 4x r9280x rig did similar with one card too. It did not go DEAD, but stopped hashing in reality while it still showed similar speed as earlier. Temp went down, fan stopped correspondingly.
Lowering the Mem speed of only that given single card solved the issue.

Platimum4,

Can you please put the config file used for 290X? I want to mine X11 I read that your Hashrate is 5.4XX .. Is it ok to use the new miner with different pool ?

For what it's worth, I also get slightly over 5.4 Mhash (21.74 across 4 290X's to be precise) with the following X11 configuration:

Engine 1010
Memory 1250
xintensity 360 (I19 would be equal to 186, and I20 would be equal to 372 in xintensity)
powertune 15
worksize 64
I don't have shaders listed but a thread concurrency of 24577.
Threads 1

(I see from the example above that X13 should be able to run with no significant changes in configuration apart from calling out the correct kernel. I'll have to start fresh and give it another go...)

On x13 the hamsi-expand-big setting will apply.  If you are on 290/290X please try hamsi-expand-big "1", as the base setting is "4" in the .cl file.  Somebody up above was using "7" and has some different results but seem to be less hashrate improvement then it was advertised to be.  If you are pulling 5.4M per card on x11 with that sort of config, and I'm pulling 5.46M/5.596M per card with my config, then I may not try and fix what's not broken; I may drop to your clocks to compare if I need to.  When I went up to xI:320 (little less than 360) it was blowing my cards into SICK real fast (well, the one continually troubling one) so I haven't gone back to tweak just yet, I restored it to I:19 for stability.  My thread concurrency on previous builds was 14080 when it was specified, which was the default given to it by the miner.

Ideally, I may try and knock my powertune down to 15.

EDIT: On the rig with the frequent SICK card I stripped out gpu-powertune entirely, but I still have max avail power draw +50% set in MSI Afterburner.  Not sure how I can measure electrical draw until I get my weekly usage sent to me from my energy company.  Ever since started mining they knocked me into a high-use "hey we're sending you emails each week so you don't forget your usage" type shit.

EDIT2: Stripped out all gpu-powertunes and no drop in hashrate; barely maybe .002; gonna roll with it for the time being at voltages .9V

Platinum4,

Thank you for the quick response Cheesy Is there any special format to change in the config file to mine in different pool ? I want to mine X11 only, without importing the different profiles like the config file you have...

Sorry for the noob question, but I've been unable to get X13 working over several tries the last few weeks with different releases of SGminer. I run X11 fine. Does anyone have a working example of a 290X config file or a tutorial link or other simple explanation for what needs to be changed going from X11 to X13? Thanks for any info....

something strange happened

i've got 2 miners updated with new drivers and new software
the kernel switching seems to be a bit improved
but only one is showing the good perfs increase ... Undecided

the other one is more efficient (0.1MH/card) with the older version on sgminerV5
i've got the same cards on both, saffire 7950 dualX
the differences are:
ubuntu 12.4/mobo AS ROCK 970 + sempron 145 + 4 Go gskill Eco series (low voltage 1,35V DDR3 1600) for the strong one
ubuntu 13.1/mobo MSI Z77A + celeron G1620 + 8 Go gskill Ripjaws series (normal 1,5V DDR3 1600) for the weak one

if i put the same settings the weakest one give some gpus speed a 0 MH and/or sick cards ...

the ASrock miner always beat the MSI, on previous miner versions
i had also this problem of little underperforming miner with scrypt N, and now with X11 and X13 the problem increased ...

do you have some ideas of where does it comes from ?

Not a clue.  I've got 3 rigs all running 290Xs and I just dropped my undervolt from 0.925V to 0.900V and experienced a slight, nominal boost in hashrate on all rigs, and the hashrate is not uniform either.  On some rigs it's 5.460M for x11, on one other, it's 5.596M.  No rhyme or reason to it, except the 5.596M is running on a i7-920 Nehalem so it's on old style X58 northbridge architecture with QPI as opposed to the two other rights which 1 is on a MSI-GS45 w/Haswell CPU for one and MSI-GS65 w/Haswell CPU for others.  All have 8GB RAM and 12GB swap file.

sorry i made a error in my explanation

for X11,

with the MSI i had 1.9 MH/card on the old sgminer V5
now 2.5 MH/card on the new sgminer+ new divers
with the ASrock i had 2.6 / card on the old sgminer V5
now 3.3/ card on the new sgminer+ new drivers

so to correct what i said, yes i have hash increase on both
but got somee underperforming problems on the MSI

does it come from the hardware ? or does it comes from the OS ?
i'm still wondering what happens ...

We have published new sgminer_v5 binaries (linux, windows), build today (60 sec quit fix, high speed fan fix, etc.): https://www.nicehash.com/software/#sgminer
This version offers slightly lower hashrate than one month ago, it also causes GPUs to die more often.

And the version is 4.2.2 or something, it never says 5.0...

thanks for this explanation

so the 290X is hawai ?
my 7950 must be tahiti if i remember well

edit: i've tried 4 and got 100% rejected and less hashrate
hamsi expand big is better @ 1 for me

yep, check your bin files to be sure, but 290/X should be Hawaii
