what OS are you using?

1 - add the following lines to mediterraneancoin.conf:

addnode=node1.mediterraneancoin.org
addnode=node2.mediterraneancoin.org
addnode=node3.mediterraneancoin.org
addnode=node4.mediterraneancoin.org

2 - the new PoW is more computationally demanding than scrypt and sha256 (it is also cryptographically safer) thus it requires more time to sync or to rescan the blockchain.

are you syncing from empty blockchain or from the archived blockchain?

if running from the downloaded blockchain, you can use option rescan=0 (the blockchain has been cloned from an instance of a wallet which has been shutdown correctly, so there are no issues with the files).

If anyones a scrypt miner here... This is my best share to date.

Did the calculation, with a 3 card rig, I should expect to see a share that large every 80 years or so if non stop mining. Can hopefully get some of that luck this week!
