hi all... i had 800 shield coins and had not been able to fully sync since about 14 07... finally got shield.conf  today, deleted wallet rebuilt, synced, reset wallet backup but my coins remain Unconfirmed?.. any ideas how to help me?.. we small time players appear to just get ripped all the time... so many small gamers and people out here that just want something they can mine and hold without it disappearing to be able to use for some ? purchase or use online? someone build long term mining and hold system only and we shall come. I know many that just do not bother because by time they collect enough of any coin it has become so devalued the power costs were not even covered... only winners are power companies, and the massive miners that smash the ability of the tiny but huge market of gamers and the plodders... we are not all attached to the market with software and time to be onhand when the coin pumps, and then dumps leaving us holding the bag. We may not make much fast, but if someone finds a way to involve us all... then the numbers shall boom and longevity will live long and prosper. it appears like this market is like telecommunications pricing, meant to confuse and demean thos who are not as literate as those inside the know.. sorry to be so long winded but finished my sob now ... lol..

I guess we're still waiting on petATL's people. Donation fund (in SHLD and BTC) sounds good to me too.

The specs on this coin are insanely good. And the name is a bonus too. Perfect specs, perfect name. It's an opportunity for any smart coding team. When it was released, it was trading at 60k (more than 100x current price) on hype alone, without any features. Imagine the potential if a dedicated and talented group of coders/devs took it over. It would be crazy not to.

I was talking today with programers they dont have time check code now they check it in this weekend and tell me in monday what they can do.

I buy more coins too, so I think we stay on Bittrex, now is there Korecoin party it was dead coin too and now rocket, allmost same specification 1mil. coins  we must do same....

because Rocket without SHIELD is nothing :-)))

gnomegawd, petATL and other members who were talking about a takeover...any news? I keep buying and selling to myself just to keep the volume above 0.1 so bittrex doesnt de-list it.

just take it over. It's apparent the original devs were in it for the scam. Their white paper was copied and I contacted the group that they said they were integrating the technology with and they hadn't even heard of shieldcoin. Obvious now that devs scammed. Original devs are long gone. Just take it over

I think you should get in touch with gnomegawd, because they are also interested in taking over this coin. Also spoogemcduck says he knew the devs and will try to get in contact with them. The more managers, developers, coders on the team, the better. You guys should collaborate your ideas with eachother. I cant offer much but community support and a little bit of PR through social media.
 
At this point its safe to say that the original devs have left for good. But I also agree with gnomegawd :

Best way is working stealth, create own forum and send here only basic information, because this forum is only full FUDers just waiting for dump some small amount of BTC.

But who thinking and working, can change something and after, secondary product is amount of BTC but more bigger :-)))

Im waiting now if old dev return or not before I start working on this, but anyway Im waiting what my programers say on that code because they dont do in cryptocurrency but they programing MES programs for automotive company.

this was a community fud killing, kinda like a witch hunt, tie to chair throw in water if floats, kill it it's bad, if sinks, nope it's good, only non witches sink...

It's a shame the crypto crowd fud so hard on this dev, he up and left.  It would be nice for him to return and give the new team a blessing on the continued efforts to securing shield development further in the future.
