I think they are working on an announcement in a few hours. I was reading their Slack channel and they said it will come soon, but we all found their news too fast Smiley

Also, it looks like their community guy posted on Reddit already....

I know! Who is making this pump and what is the news? This is surprising because it came from nothing. A little more information from the community will be helpful.

Sia Tech received $750K funding!

Seed funding, no wonder we see the price is up 70% today. Amazing, siacoin team you are reliable. A legit coin.

I wasn't sure, since I randomly stumbled across it. Looks like they confirmed on the Slack that it is real - hopefully an official announcement comes out soon!

Already up 40% with zero crypto media.

so can anyone land a hand here please?  i've only been mining a little while, so the problem isn't too big; only ~7-8k coin in the orig wallet,  hate loosing things tho

can i just manually import the wallet.json file and send them to myself?

I'm new to Sia myself and had the same problem. The wallet just hung up on me. I deleted the cache file and re-installed the wallet and it started working again with my SC intact.

hi ppl i'm having a little problem that i need some help with

i have the sia wallet installed on my pc (win 8.1, plenty RAM, CPU & storage) it has stopped working, with the message 'siad has unexpectedly stopped'. after many restarts, it still won't start, so i sync'd a copy of a fresh wallet on my laptop (it's working fine) and i find i need help with the CLI to import the seed.

i've tried:
./siac wallet load seed [seed]   (edit) i put the many word seed there w/out the []

but that doesn't seem to do it; siad returns:
Usage:
  ./siac wallet load seed [flags]

Global Flags: (edit) i don't have the original public addy
-a, --addr string   which host/port to communicate with (i.e. the host/port siad is listening on) (default "localhost:9980")

not sure what it's asking for?

thanks

The cointainer i'm running Sia off tries to connect to a lot of local addresses (10.10.1.10:9982, 192.168.x.x:9982) on a regular basis causing a lot of hits on my firewall, is this intended behavior ?

Still having this issue...
