More info on this after this weeks updates that is our primary focus for the next 2 days,
I can say multipool has been discussed and is being looked into but thats not needed until final POS
other than that when the next POW hits there should be numerous pools mining silk

The price fell to shit?

Silkcoin has the most stable price of any NEWBORN coin I have ever seen (and i have seen a lot)
At the start it was solid at 800 sats for 2 weeks before it spiked v.briefly to 3.5k sats , then settled at 2000 stats

Since then we have fluctuated between 2000 and 1500 sats mostly , dipping and spiking slightly as Coins do on exchanges when people are trying to make more coin, but only slightly, No wild swings this is most important.

However I have come to a realization a few weeks ago

None of the above actually matters, not one bit ...

Have you seen the wallet? the devs? the marketing team?

Updates every week when promised.
Launched with all features working and all promises kept to. ( you aint seen nothing yet )
1000's of Silkcoin given away from the marketing team and many kind hearted holders.
Constant presence of team on forums , all exchanges that allow chat etc, www.mysilkcoin.com forums.
All parts of the silkcoin team in constant contact via a business development platform .. we can all see what each of us is doing and also what tasks are needed to be done or planned for the future.
Massive voting on mintpal ( we are now at the position most coins take double the time to get to.)

you see the realization I came to was that I Believe in Silkcoin our whole team does, the small list above tells me that eventually we will be head and shoulders above 99.9% of alts out at the moment, most alts promise all these things but how many deliver? what they said , when they said?

I agree with judgecrypto, right now it's very difficult to buy large amounts of SilkCoin. That buy order has been up there for close to two days, and it hasn't moved much. In fact when it first popped onto the order book it was at 1500 Satoshis, the buyer has gotten impatient waiting for someone to sell and moved it up to 1800 Satoshis and it's still there.

With the amount of attention that we'll be getting at the start of the 2nd PoW phase, it will flood the market with new buyers and as judgecrypto mentioned that only 5 BTC is needed to get to 2500 Satoshis. The price will have a dramatic increase. There will be the inevitable dump of some coins from some miners and multipools, however by then I predict the market would've already have moved up to a new price level.

You underestimate the power of the dark side (multipool dumping)

I am not worried about the multipool dumping. This coin will be worth at least 30,000 sat soon. I have already got my war chest full in case the price doesn't drop because of multipool dumping. In case it does I have BTC set aside to scoop up bargains. BRING IT ON MULTIPOOLS...

I was here during the first massacre on multi pools. I had 400k coins bought between 2k to 3k sat. I watched as my investment went down to a little over 1 BTC. I did not sell. I knew it would recover. That is why you should look at a coin before you buy in. A quality coin will easily bounce back. Some of these coins now don't even BOTHER to put up a website at launch. Silk coin is top notch quality as anyone who has started to follow can see.

There will be a dump of coins, but how many people are like me waiting on the side with BTC unlike last time? I won't take the risk that i can get in on the dumps because with all the press the dumps will either be absorbed or be a lot less than before. In fact I believe the current price reflects the dump like you mentioned. If there was no second PoW phase I believe we would already be at 10k. Since the price already factors in the multipool dumps I dont think the price swing will be as bad. At the end of PoW there will be strong movement of the price.

The devs are hard at work.

The price has dropped by around 500 Satoshis, it's based on pure speculation, traders don't know wheter to buy or sell at the moment.

I have worked on and know what is coming on the next few announcements. I am not obligated to post about it yet until it is announced, but I can assure you this. All those who've sold in the last few days will be regretting their decision to sell at such a low price.

I did notice the price dropped @ Poloniex but have you seen how less coins there are to buy?

With "only" 2,5 BTC you could have the price at 2000 Sat, so it seems only logical to me the price will go higher!

First PoW was 10000 blocks / 30 million coins (5000 block reward)

Second Pow is 10000 blocks, 1000 Block reward. That means 30 million / (5000/1000) = 6 Million extra coins.

@ 1000 Satoshis, that means 60BTC of volume....
