As you may all know we finally decided to reduce the block reward in the next POW phase to please the community. There was a lot of arguments for and against the last phase so to please everyone since both sides had very valid points we decided to keep the last phase BUT reduce the block reward to 2500. So there will be 2x less coins generated in the last phase.
Total expected coins at the end of last phase : ~45 million
EVERYONE MUST UPDATE BEFORE POW, else you may send transactions on the wrong chain and lose your coins.

WTB 1.5BTC worth of Silkcoin. Exchanges don't have volume, who can sell them to me directly?
There is enought trade on poloniex to get it done with a little patience.

The genius of a second pow session. Mining can be used as advertising and distribution(scrypt is still heavily used and ppl don't change quickly) . Once we go pow again many new eyes will see Silkcoin and try out the wallet(then they become investors). Keep adding kindel and the fire will eventually turn into a blaze.

Guys I am trying to decide if I should sell my 2 R7 265s for a couple hundred bucks or so for both and invest that in SC or keep them and try to mine other coins to buy SC or wait for a multipool for SC?
Tricky question, with ASIC coming soon, and with BTC looking ready for a ride - who know how the market will react.
I own many R9 290, and I still run it for a while. If you can sell yours for, says, 200$ now, you probably be able to sell it for 150$ in 2-3 months. I do like the "buy SC" option too

I just put a 60000 SC buy order at 1451. I bought at 1554 too. Nice trading run I would say . Some people just wait for "news" to buy or sell, I just don't get it to be honnest. Ok that could help, but if a coin is good, it is good - and no need to offer a 350$ gadget to pump it.
The Oculus is a nice idea for sure (I retwetted it) - but what SC need is more buy support. Now in poloniex, all buy order = less then 10 btc (3 of them is me). That's just too thin ! We do need a multipool with a solid algorythme - that would give more support and in same time would get some advertising potential.

How much is the Occulus Rift worth that is in the contest? I was just able to buy .03 BTC worth of SC and if I win by some moracle I would want to sell it for more SC
