When i first started i was getting a block every 2 mins or less for the first few hours, it quickly ramped up then though.

i would prefer this coin to stay CPU only. there are too few CPU only coins.
I agree! Once the list of planned sites, services, exchange, and other stuff planned opens up though this coin will absolutely explode. SKN is the next super coin.
I think the more people involved the more likely it is to succeed.
You need the gpu and asic miners on board to become mainstream (unfortunate for me as i dont have an asic and my hd 6870 isnt the fastest miner out there)

My c++ programming experience ended up approx 15 years ago, so don't laugh
Here is a most dirty modification of quark cpuminer which works (finds blocks) with wallet and my pool (still not available for users) but there is something wrong with difficulty target which doesn't work in a nice way with the pool (quarkcoin has different difficulty algo but I dont know how to fix this). Could you please take a look and fix if possible? I will then open my pool for users.
