I was also thinking about the possibility of doing a total rebranding of Sling to make us look more professional to appeal to a larger audience with totally reworked graphics etc.

Whilst we are still a very young cryptocurrency it might be the ideal time to do this.

How would the community feel about that and are there any suggestions for an improved name for both the currency and the decentralized market?

Yeah, rebranding is so necessary, that's a good idea.

its on Tor only. TheMarketplace.i2p shut down a few months ago most likely due to lack of use. Everyone sticking to Tor markets for whatever reason

I wish I could advertise on Agora forums, but I loathe the thought of going on Tor Undecided

That right there should be reason for people to switch - not having to worry about exit nodes & such.

Set up I2P and you're good to go, is Agora on I2P or Tor only? I didn't think, maybe it is?

Good to see the market working, I do believe Agora could be a great place to promote sling, there should be a give away to have some of the outside internet user try out sling, maybe a faucet could be good in the case.

DNSStats.com should list SlingRoad as a market. It should be online at almost 100% of the time which should be an impressive attribute.

Look at some of the other markets and their uptime. 79% is not good.

We need more marketing and promotion plans.
We need to recruit someone (Professional PR) to promote SLING?
