This sounds like the perfect scam...posted by a newbie...

On Friday September 21st, CryptoHub was supposedly subject of a hacker attack. Their exchange was shut down for that reason. Their official statement said that Waves tokens were not affected by this attack (Bycom is included there), but that other kind of assets were and for that reason they are going to reimburse users with the 72% of their holdings converted to BTC. We, as Bycom, have many questions. We, as Bycom, don’t approve that approach, since it makes users carry with the loss product of their (lack) of security measures.
Join us on our vision to combat scams. If you have been affected by the closure of CryptoHub, please fill this form in. We will be glad to welcome you on the Bycom Community giving you the first 50K Bycom tokens if you qualify:

- If the link doesn't work, please check our Twitter profile to see it.

You must complete this steps:
1) Fill this form
2) Follow Bycom official account on Twitter:
https://twitter.com/bycom_official
3) RT the pinned tweet about this program
4) Join our Official Telegram Room:

Additional information:
- Who recovers 100% is not considered affected.
- We have allocated 500 Million Bycom for this action. Once those 500 Million are reached, we will stop accepting new forms.
- Once the program is completed, all the information received, i.e. email addresses, wallet addresses and all personal data will be destroyed.

Goals of this action:
- Encourage Cryptohub's buyout by giving support to it.
- Give the Cryptohub community some compensation for their losses.

The cryptohub.online exchange appears to have been hacked and many coins stolen, including all users' SMLY.

A little bit of detective work proved that these coins had been sent to TradeSatoshi who promptly froze the account of the perpetrator.

This is described in a short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDAiSeRgi6E&index=13&list=PLzTQcKBiNWB3E7nh5egXI_PaHW1MLnXy8&t=10s

Smileycoin makes students interested in learning creatively. It may look like a tutor, a friend of the students. I see it as an educational system entirely open and accessible is very useful for students

A new version of the wallet is now available on github.

Please let us know of any problems.

This mainly has some bug fixes and the first step towards being able to use atomic swaps involving the SMLY.

The difficulty changes have been programmed but are set to occur roughly in June of next year. We're not quite ready for them yet.

On Ubuntu, just move your old source directory out of the way and compile a new one from scratch:
git clone http://github.com/tutor-web/smileyCoin
cd smileyCoin
./autogen.sh
./configure
make

If you're setting this up on a raspberry pi, you'll need a few more lines, but it should still work.

If you can compile and test on windows or a mac, please try and let us know how that goes.

Just to let you know: this is now ongoing and will happen since everyone agrees. Just taking a bit longer than we'd like.

We should also discuss the following idea regarding the SMLY premine: Rather than keep the premine hidden away in cold storage we could set up a formal board of trustees (for lack of a better term) with access to a multisig address where the premine is stored. So we would view the remainder of the premine as a fund to be used for a specific purpose. A majority signature would be required to send SMLY from the fund.

The fund would still have pretty much the same functions as the present premine, i.e. support the tutor-web with an option to occasionally fund R&D projects. We should use the opportunity to spell out exactly these functions, e.g. with a percentage split into each category. We should also spell out exactly the maximum amount spendable per year.

Make it so.
We'll try -- just need to set up a formal board. More later.

On exchanges again
re exchanges:

The current price of SMLY is well below 1 Satoshi. This implies that a BTC-based market is not suitable for SMLY. We need SMLY-DOGE or SMLY-LTC markets.

You must have noticed the problems at tradesatoshi -- they've had to deal with a barrage of DDOS attacks recently. As a result they have stopped much of their trading, including any SMLY trading.

Further, novaexchange is still not up to speed. There is no deposit option for most of their coins. You can still buy SMLY there, but the spread is wide and the amount available is low.

Finally, cryptohub has no option for DOGE or LTC basemarkets.

That leaves SouthXchange who have just added SMLY to their LTC basemarket!!

You should expect SouthXchange to become the main exchange for SMLY until novaexchange and tradesatoshi get up to speed again.

Most trading currently occurs on the SouthXchange SMLY-LTC market.
Tradesatoshi has just re-opened for SMLY trading but seem to be under continuous DDOS attacks.
Novaexchange is in the phase of reopening for deposits, but it's taking a bit long.
Cryptohub really only has the SMLY-BTC market which is not much use when the price is as low as it is now.

And a quick warning:
Ongoing stuff:
  • adding the opcodes needed for atomic swaps
  • html5 wallet
  • new coin explorer
  • re-implement testnet
  • several bug-corrections

the opcodes and the bug-corrections mean that you will need to update your wallets!

Watch this space for information - we're not quite there yet. Testing should be complete in 1-2 weeks.
