BIG NEWS FOR FREEDOM AND STAKING:

Moreno doesn't work in TOR blocked regions, whereas XSPEC you can stake in TOR blocked regions: Iran, Iraq, China, UAE to name a few. Spectrecoin (XSPEC) is an innovative privacy focused coin... and also circumvents the censorship of countries such as China and Iran...

Bitcoin has just a few thousand less coins than SpectreCoin and it is priced at almost $4,000 while SpectreCoin with superior privacy technology is priced at 17 cents. HUH? Huh

I think the price of SpectreCoin is bound to move up quite a bit more, don't you?  I mean unless people are really really dumb !!!  Too bad so many are, but because the knowledge about SpectreCoin is getting out, this amazing coin with advanced privacy technology should steadily climb up up up up. Just the stealth staking alone should provide the rocket fuel to move it up up up as millions seeking freedom across China, Iraq, Iran, and the UAE to name a few start stealth staking this amazing coin.

==========

In a newsletter from June, Mandica ( Lead Developer ) explains how best to think about the project:

“The best way to understand Spectre today is to think of bitcoin + Proof-of-Stake.v3 + anonymous transactions (using similar technology to monero) + Tor to hide your IP.”

Spectre has already built Tor into its systems and even went further, implementing Tor product, “OBSF4,” which allows users to skirt national firewalls, such as those in China and Iran.

The team itself functions anonymously too. In fact, a spokesperson for the Spectra team told CoinDesk that the developers themselves don’t even know each other’s real names. [UPDATE:  I guess this will change soon?]

Xspec uses ring signatures as their privacy protocol. Currently they are developing the new version which will change all addresses to stealth by default. Next things coming up is stealth staking, which is a very unique feature.

===========

I am not showing you this article (below) on Dark Web News to give you the idea that SpectreCoin is being used for anything illegal, but only to show you how private SpectreCoin truly is.  Remember, freedom needs privacy, and privacy is for those who love liberty. Criminals use cash and do you hate cash because criminals use it?  Of course not. So you should love SpectreCoin for all the right reasons if you truly love privacy and freedom.  Go SpectreCoin !!!

    -->   SPECTRECOIN: EXCHANGES  (Updated List):

To clarify the above posting

Amsterdex:          https://amsterdex.com/exchange?market=xspec - added earlier this month, highly recommended, not a dex but NO KYC since fiat trading pairs aren't offered.

CREX24:              https://crex24.com/exchange/XSPEC-BTC  - Spectrecoin's newest exchange and trading well

Trade Satoshi:     https://tradesatoshi.com/Exchange?market=XSPEC_BTC

BISQ:                   https://market.bitsquare.io/?market=xspec_btc    - One of the oldest dexs with Spectrecoin listed for well over a year

Novaexchange:   https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_XSPEC/

Livecoin:              https://www.livecoin.net/ - still in maintenance but recently began allowing deposits but no withdrawals

   Binance *  pending but no assurance of listing

   Poloniex *   pending but no assurance of listing

* Spectrecoin have submitted a full application for a listing on Binance and Poloniex.

The team has had long time standing applications on the above as well as other popular exchanges but, is not inclined to pay high fees for a listing which is harmful to the project. Trading is active however on the above exchanges with Amsterdex and Crex24 being safe and secure exchanges to trade.

As many learned from the recent Cryptopia  hack....never keep more coins on any exchange than you can afford to lose access to temporarily (best case) or lose completely (worst case)

Here is a new exchange for SpectreCoin and this exchange likes to list privacy coins: TXBIT.io

I hope the admin and the developers involved with SpectreCoin try to get SpectreCoin listed on this exchange.

With 5000XSPEC you would stake 2.25XSPEC approximately every two days.
For the exact amount use the calculator:
https://spectreproject.io/stakingcalc.html

You can find the network weight % (Percentage of all XSPEC currently staking) on:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xspec/#!extraction
That's not bad, not bad. Not too much, but much better than nothing. I think it makes sense to buy some XSPEC,  especially considering that project is actively coming back to life.

Great to see this coin holding on and with all those exchanges.  It's definitely a good choice.  How many do you need to get that 5% stake every couple of days?

As a footnote to above post....
LiveCoin market is open for trading but in maintenance for deposits and withdrawals

Nova exchange is not for US based traders, most other countries are good, thin order book

Coinpulse, Trade Satoshi and Bisq - thin order books

Amsterdex - at the moment is most practical exchange to use. Order books are building and trading started for Spectrecoin in last
few days. Smooth and fast.

The team is working very hard to gain additional exchange exchanges.
We'll keep everyone posted here, twitter, reddit,telegram and discord

Cryptopia says:
"14th January 2019, the Cryptopia Exchange suffered a security breach which resulted in significant losses."...

This I say about Cryptopia:

I think we all validate these 3 general rules in the crypto world:

1º Do not invest an amount that you can not lose 100%.

2º Money placed in centralized exchanges is already half lost, IMO. Did not you read the conditions of service ?.

3º The money in your devices is safer, but it can also be stolen.

And this as black humor:
Even after death you can be robbed, in the grave or pantheon.

So, the best thing is not to have money? No, that's the worst, of course.
But having money implies a personal responsibility:
to take care of it and so be able to do something good with it. (IMO).
