I don't think it'll be much longer before the mobile beta is available to the public as it's scheduled for February as part of Milestone #3.

I recommend using the mobile IndieSquare wallet for iOS and Android which you can download from wallet.indiesquare.me which makes it really easy to purchase cards for XCP from the DEX.
