I compiled sph-sgminer version 4.1.0-101-g7678 on my Xubuntu system with 3 X 7850. sph-sgminer works good but my last GPU does not work when I use export Display=:0 in my shell script to start the miner. The GPU with the issue displays temp & RPM but hasrate remains at 0.000, and eventually the miner gets hung after a few minutes. The only way I can get all three card mining is to comment out export Display=:0. Should I try a prior version or is there something else I should try?

Are you sure about this? Because for example hash of BTC block 10 (difficulty = 1) is:
000000002c05cc2e78923c34df87fd108b22221ac6076c18f3ade378a4d915e9
and hash of QRK block 600 (difficulty = 1.01576304) is:
00000096b99f154706b957c0e36cc4bf3789849e8a0684278dffac607b404641
so QRK definitely has higher target than BTC for this difficulty, otherwise this block would not be accepted. I'm not an expert in this, though.

In BTC dDiff is multiplied/divided by 256 until nShift is 29 while in QRK it's multiplied/divided by 256 until nShift is 30 - so IMHO for two difficulties with the same value target value will be shifted by 8 bits.
Note that sph-sgminer displays network difficulty correctly for Quark and QubitCoin. It wouldn't be correct with wrong multiplier.

I think x11 includes blue midnight wish. But can sph-sgminer mine it if it was a standalone algo like groestl coin?

did anyone find a solution to 10% hashrate drop after 10mins of mining darkcoin with r9 290s?

I sent you all the coins (sic) I mined over almost a month as a donation as a show of thanks .....
The russian thread (via google translate) is pretty active for the coin
They got quite a kick out of the fact that the gpu showed up.
They are also planing to launch a new coin based on proof of stake ( or so they say) and let users of this coin keep their coins by importing their
keys into the new client !!1
Anyway , was a job well done and thanks again. Will try to make another donation in near future for your efforts.

Can I use this for scrypt-n & x11?
Update well specifying nfactor with zuikkis or darkcoin kernel fails to load sph-sgminer.
Atm I'm using sgminer for scrypt-n and sph-sgminer for x11. Would be good to use just the one program.

Groestl is useless atm, cause Cuda Miner is 2-3x faster

R9 290 : 9Mh/s (gpu@1100)

amd sph miner beaten but not so much
how about power consumption ? If put that into consideration , which is better ?
750ti at 8 Mh/s under 75 watts per card
