interesting.
and perhaps a tad sycophantic so feel free to shoot me down in flames, but this is what i believe.

my reasoning is that for the first time, ever, we have been dealing with a company who have not only turned out the most efficient hardware from their own IP but have also flown in the face of all other h/w manufacturers by striving to assure 100% customer satisfaction.
in this industry, it's unheard of.

I just want to say, if you don't win this Guy, well done for rounding up such a skilled team, and for everything that you do to service our mining requirements. Although you are obviously driven by the profit which keeps you in production, so are we and I wish to applaud you, not only in that excellent customer service, but also in the actual hardware you have produced.

He may be the most important person in bitcoin mining, but I can't see how he is the most important person for bitcoin itself. Mining is not important in the great scheme of things. We could still be using GPU miners and bitcoin would be secure enough.

Personal text my ass....
That SP20 is a cute little rig. How many BTC is it making a day ?

You already know the answer to that question.

twenty five cents a day by Easter

more likely 2 dollars a day by April 15th, but your 25 cent estimate is possible.

Philipma1957, where are you hosting your SP20's?

On one of my SP20's a firmware update 2.5.27 became available this afternoon. Has anyone upgraded to this version yet?

Current firmware version: 2.5.26
Latest available firmware version: 2.5.27

Wierd, I upgraded to that 4 days ago.

mine was upgradeable 3 or 4 days ago I did nothing so far.

I have some questions.

First is the new firmware better in any way.
Second and not on point  do you use the little mini sd card or do you not bother?
I will have 4 or 5 of these soon and I wondered if I need to use the little sd card option.

Not noticed anything super special but then nothing bad either.

Never used the SD card.

Got another one coming soon also.

I have an Emerson 1200 PSU failure .. what would be the easiest way to contact SPT for warranty?
The PSU green LED light does not power up anymore. I tried to SWAP them .. just powering the other part of the SP30.

I hope you received the replacement PSU from SPT by now ...

Good question, I see that as well ... what does the update bring to the party? No news on the Sponds Technical Blog on the website.

Zvisha ... can you elaborate on the update please?

SP-Tech, whats the hashrate and power draw when fans set to 70?

If its like any of the others it will depend a lot on the ambient temps and the actual temps on the ASICs

If the ASICs get too hot they automatically throttle back lowering hashrate.

SP35 hashing video: http://vimeo.com/113517265

A real crowd pleaser ... looks like it mines very quietly, couldn't hear a sound  Grin

I'm guessing it will be no different than an SP30\31. Fans at 90% in this demo.

When I installed my SP31's they ran default @ 70%
