They always miss spec on batch 1, almost always involve massive delays, and way too frequently the manufacturer delivers obsolete kit or nothing at all.

My order pre-dates the group order by a week or two and I've had my 3xSP30 hosted with Spondoolies and mining for 6 days now.
One was a bit ropey initially so they replaced it and added an extra node for a day to make up for the few hours downtime.
My pre-order experience with Spondoolies has been way better than most suppliers.
They were slightly overconfident to hit such high targets with that form factor on the initial batch, but not so much.
They have delivered good solid kit, on time, and not disastrously off spec. Plus they're giving some compensation.
This makes them a top supplier in my experience.
Pre-orders are a huge risk we choose to take in an attempt to get ahead of the curve.

I have spoken with Guy, Collider, and Roadstress on Skype. They're different people.
It might be worth mentioning that the August batches were open for quite a while before the August Group Buy, and the August batches closed shortly after the August Group Buy closed. This suggests that the August group buy orders are near the end of the August shipment queue, and should be expected to ship near the end of August. Many people who ordered SP30s before the August Group Buy have already received their miners. I know this because I have several of theirs in my datacenter.
All I know is if Spondoolies tries a KnC and ships a 'few' SP30 but fails to ship the entire GroupBuy prior to Sept 1, they aren't going to have to worry about Gaza any longer - bitcoin miners all over the world will be shooting 'rockets' there. all sp10s were delivered on time, July SP30s were on time, my early august SP30s were on time. Please trash them when it's the 1st of sept, at the moment it's too early...

rather than repeat myself, s1gs3gv pretty much covered my points of focus.
i know others are in similar positions so its advantageous to get details here for all rather than i repeat what 'spondoolies' may or may not have 'told me' in PMs.
i got into this GB based upon my absolute disgust with KnC/CoinTerra/AlphaTech/Avalon - not for more of the same 'best mates 'til shipping' flavour.

I guess its a secret that the Aug. GB starts shipping on Aug 31. Straight out of the KNC playbook. The more things change the more they stay the same in this world.

I am trying to provide a service to the community here, completely free of charge, to help out fellow miners.
which is appreciated but im sure you can agree there is a very consistent, blurry line between your speculations and the lack of details from HQ.
again, no-one called you a liar or personally attacked you, playing the victim is so weak i cant believe you both did so. (actually...)
you have (the first of?) your machines so are in a position to help others out, those others being other miners, not 'helping' SPTech by repeatedly 'speculating' expected shipping dates where they feel no need to do so.
im not trying to ruffle sensitive feathers, MERELY trying to find out (free of charge)when myself & OTHERS might expect to receive our August the ??th hardware...

personally i feel Roadstress' recent 'thankyou SPT for making ME money' post was more 'insulting' to all of us waiting than anything i OR you has posted, but its just an opinion.
i believe myself to be a patient man, but having been burned in multiple ASIC invest-duh rape schemes i feel justified in requesting the most basic info wrt shipment details - and as for 'its there if you look for it' it isnt, its vague and intentionally/purposefully so, amongst a plethora of backslapping, competition abuse & failed hero claims among other unhelpful drivel. (and some helpful)

And I still haven't heard when the Aug. GB will start shipping. All we got so far was 'we are working 5 days a week and shipping 70-100 machines a day'. Are those shipping to GB customers or to customers further ahead in the queue. If further ahead in the queue, when do the GB machines start to ship and given your production numbers when will the last GB machine ship ?
Getting a simple answer to a simple question is like pulling teeth here … heh Edgar ?
As a side note: its amazing what a BTC dump during summer will do to the stress level on Bitcointalk.

What about the guy who was going on about the chips yesterday... how about I have a look at that concordance... similarities... hmmm. Let's investigate those patterns shall we and see what turns up? Hashfasttrollname or whatever it was.

Hashfasttrollname or whatever it was. No spy set needed. Just copy and paste the text of both posts into and program and watch the results. You know it is makes little difference how many accounts you make and try to upset the apple cart here buddy. No one cares about your opinion with regards to SPTech. The rest of us will just go off of what they produce and how they deal with actual customers. Given the nature of market they have done very well to keep customers well informed and when they mess up the admit the fault and move forward. I'd rather do biz with people that act in that manner. I'll be sure to avoid doing biz with you GRN and again any of your multiple accounts as well.
