Been mining it on and off with a 7950 for a few days to fill the house account on Crypto Blackjack so there's currently about 35 GPL there. Not selling but anyone could potentially take it by beating the house.

Meta, you mentioned that you used GTX mobility, so you are only mining on a laptop?

Just want to do a poll here, how much do you think GPL is worth now? Let say, how much you'd sell/buy 100 GPL for?

Yep, laptop. GT630M.

I think 100 GPL should fetch around 37.5 LTC. The backstory of the coin seems quite nice, not just a copy/paste shitclone. (Personally, I don't want the 3.50486085 GPL I've mined to go for a pittance...)

Petr1fied, if you're selling I'll buy 0.03493054 BTC (or whatever currency you want it in) worth of it.

Hard to judge pre-exchange but if you compare it against FRK which has a similar block reward, maybe around 17 LTC although someone buying pre-exchange would probably pay less because they want to make a profit on the deal.

I did have some problem with GPL, but I didn't look into details. Switched to KED instead.

So far, have not gotten mining to work on this pc. Nvidia graphics card does not work for mining.

Therefore if anyone has any free GPL they can give me, I will gladly accept it.

Is anyone giving out free samples of the Gold-Pressed-Latinum?

I'll take some free GPL

Mine some yourself! Difficulty is only 0.02425092 at this point. Go to gplcoin.com and mine.

Anyway, I've got some issues here - all blocks found by my client are accepted by the pool but rejected (not stale, but outright rejected) by my client. I've lost around 4 or 5 blocks this way already - a significant amount when you have just 10KH/s.

Does anyone else have that problem?

My complete command line is:
Code:
For solo mining

ybcminer.exe --scrypt -o localhost:19994 -u ___ -p ___ --gpu-platform 1 --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 -I 9

For pool mining

ybcminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://gplcoin.com:8888 -u ___ -p ___ --gpu-platform 1 --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 -I 9

I don't use the conf file (that doesn't store StartT, I think).

Code:
ybcminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://gplcoin.com:8888 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD --gpu-platform X --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 -I 9

To determine X, first check the output of ybcminer -n and see which gpu-platform your card is listed on.

Would someone please be so kind as to post their conf file for GPL for me with the miner listed in the OP?  I haven't been able to mine GPL at all for weeks, and I've tried everything.  It's gotta be my conf.  I would appreciate someone posting theirs so I can get going on some mining.

Hey syfy,

It's getting tedious having to dig this thread out of the bottom of the alt cryptcoin heap to keep other people's attention on it.

You gonna put up a scifi coin forum any time soon ?

Sign up on the KDF pool says my account is blocked?

Nobody's accounts are locked, I just checked again and in fact somebody who has signed up after you is mining away.

I unlocked your account hours ago, see the PM response I sent.

As far as the Pool prizes go:

Each pool will  have three prizes.

The prizes that SCiFI is giving away and two accounts per pool will be converted to no-fee accounts.

One winner per pool will be picked for the Grand Prize of that pool (SCIFI giveaway) and two runner ups for the fee-free accounts.

I don't have a console, and I already have Bioshock, so the only thing I might be aiming for is the removal of fees. (Though with my meager income, 1.5% of it is only a few micro-GPL per day)

Are they console games ?  I thought the free games were PC?

Finally able to pool mine GPL. All of these times I got the start time wrong,  I was using  --StartT 1377557832 per Jonoiv's post instead of --StartT 1377557867.

Well both work well for me.  But I originally used 1377557867

A difference of 35 seconds won't do anything much, though.

I started with one 6850, and exchanged it with one 7950 last week. 4 would be lovely, but they are hot, noisy, and costly. Not good for the Mrs...
