Sorry guys, I tried..I really did.

I did everything I could over the last few hours to compile the CPU miner into windows. It was a fight every step of the way, even with the instructions above.

I altered and changed at least a dozen things, every time getting closer to a complete compile.

The straw that broke the camels back:

When the compiler gave me errors referencing temporary files IT HAD ALREADY ERASED.

That it, I am done..

Good luck daemonfox, you are going to need it  Cheesy

I ran both of my amd ii x4 645's and only got 0.60 gpl. The difficulty is at 0.09922149, now .
Special thanks to daemonfox helping get the wallet Smiley

SOOOOO happy you got some GPL after all that.

A CPUMiner for the pool soon i promise.

I will see about compiling the CPU miner into windows so you can mine the pool. No guarantees, but it is something I need to set up anyhow and have been putting off for some time.

Detailed Windows build instructions, using MinGW (64-bit):
Install MinGW and the MSYS Developer Tool Kit (http://www.mingw.org/)
      * Choose C, C++ and MSys on install and select to have it update its libraries
      * Install into C:\MinGW
      * Add C:\MinGW\bin and c:\MinGW\msys\1.0 to your path
   Download MinGW64 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/Toolchains%20targetting%20Win64/Automated%20Builds/
      * Choose mingw-w64-bin_i686-mingw_20111220.zip
      * Extract ZIP to C:\MinGW64
      * Add C:\MinGW64\bin to your path before C:\MinGW\bin
   Install libcurl devel (http://curl.haxx.se/download.html)
      * download curl-7.30.0.tar.gz from http://curl.haxx.se/download.html and put it in C:\deps\
      * launch an MSYS shell and enter the following commands (the configure step will take a long time!)
         cd /c/deps
         tar -xvzf curl-7.30.0.tar.gz
         cd curl-7.30.0
         ./configure --host=x86_64-w64-mingw32 –-prefix=/c/mingw64
         make
         make install
         cp /c/deps/curl-7.30.0/docs/libcurl/libcurl.m4 /c/mingw/share/aclocal/libcurl.m4
   Install pthreads
      * download pthreads-20100604.zip from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/External%20binary%20packages%20%28Win64%20hosted%29/pthreads/ and put it in C:\deps\
      * unzip the file to c:\deps\
      * In the mingw64 subdirectory is pthreads-w64.zip - extract the contents to C:\MinGW64
In the MSYS shell, navigate to the CPUminer source code direcctory
      * You will likely get higher hashrates by forcing the compiler to build the executable for your
specific CPU architecture.  This is done by adding "-march=" into the CFLAGS.  Those
values can be found at http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/i386-and-x86_002d64-Options.html
           common choices for intel are : core2, corei7, corei7-avx
common choices for AMD are : athlon-fx
                       or -msse2,-msse3,-msse4,-mavx ...
      * Execute the following (replacing the value of -march with the value for your CPU type)
         ./autogen.sh
         ./configure --host=x86_64-w64-mingw32 CFLAGS="-O3 -march=core2"
         make
   Strip minerd.exe
      * In a command prompt, in the compilation directory, execute the following
         x86_64-w64-mingw32-strip minerd.exe
Combine the executables with the dependencies
      * copy minerd.exe, C:\MinGW64\bin\libcurl-4.dll, and C:\MinGW64\bin\pthreadGC2-w64.dll to the same directory

Just in case anybody noticed, I only mine from 9pm to 9am weekdays and all day weekends and holidays.

I get a much better electrical rate if I use time of day metering (off-peak hours are less then 1/2 the rate of the flat rate plan)

Just putting it out there in case anybody was thinking that I do not support my pools or the coins they represent.  Grin

@ Dreamwatcher

seem to be finding blocks but not getting paid for quite a while on the pool (12 hours at least) !  could you take a look when you get chance !  Thanks

Should be fixed. There should have been a massive payout.

This particular bug  comes up whenever there is a solved block with no shares (POS I am assuming in this case). The proportional payout cron goes into panic mode and will not process the payout on any blocks afterwards.
I basically have to go in and delete the "no-shares" block entry and the cron will then retro actively process everything.

I thought the developers had this fixed, I guess not. I will have to go in and write a bit of code to have the cron just ignore share-less blocks and not freak out... Tongue

Looks like we have another 0 block

No payments coming through.  got a nice surprise last time when you updated it.  Hoping for another big payout again  Tongue

I have set up a script to take care of the 0 share blocks before the rest of the cron jobs run. Hopefully this will put an end to this issue.  Smiley

Thanks daemonfox I will update the original post with your links.

I was not aware some people were having issues with google docs.  I personally always seem to have issues from mega with downloads freezing half way through.

I have been a bit relaxed with the promoting of the coins and keeping people informed.  this is mainly due to the fact I am helping our dev with the exchange.  I will be doing the CSS.   So if it functions ok but looks terrible thats my fault.

We are not to worried if the coins drop off a little (or a lot) at this stage.  The coins and mining activity will bounce back when we fully announce the beta testing for the exchange and we will get a regular mining base when the exchange is fully launched.

What speed of the GPL network?

You can't REALLY tell because the getnethashrate RPC call was not built into this coin. All you can do is GUESS based off a calculation using difficulty, which will not be accurate until it levels off and difficulty reaches a plateau.

You couldn't count GPL network speed approximately?

I have posted all three Windows QT wallets to my Mega account.

Inside, to make it easy, I have also included a .conf for each coin and a batch file to start the coin in server mode if you plan to try solo mining.

The conf files include what addnodes I had on hand from this thread.

KED Windows qt

UFC Windows qt

GPL Windows qt

Simply open the archive and double click the exe to start then when the client opens... close it.

Now browse to you user directory, usually like this... C:\Users\YOURPCUSERNAME\Appdata\Roaming\COINSNAME

Now, copy the .bat and .conf file to the coin's folder, and my personal choice, I copy the contents of the coin as well to this folder so for KED and UFC open the folder in the zip and copy all those files to the folder you just put the .bat and .conf file in.

Close the zip, and double click the .bat file in the open coin folder... the client will launch and be ready to solo mine.

YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE THE CONF FILE YOURSELF... each field needing a changed value has a * in it... so... rpcconnect= needs you PC IP address, rpcuser= needs a real username for solo mining and rpcpassword needs a real, secure password of your choice. Save those changes, close the coin wallet if it was open, wait about 20 seconds and then double click the .bat file again... and you are set to solo mine.

If you need help with the miner itself, that is for another thread.

Just my 2 cents... but this is not the first person to have a 404 issue with your google docs links... and my suggestion... get a mega.co.uk free account.

When you link the mega URL... embed the tag in the URL open tag and put a generic name in between the tags... this fixes the broken link issue from the # in Mega URLs.
