What happened to this project ? why the DEv are not talking any more? I want to invest but I also want to see them active.
Still don't understand how Storj could compete with maidsafe...
I thought they were different:
MaidSafe - decentralized internet (big picture)
Storj - decentralized storage. (a component of the big picture)

Probably after the crowd sale is finished.... It wouldn't make any sense to do this before.

9800 BTC, jesus christ.. what will you use it for? I have seen large ipos before, but this.. always end up people not even getting what they invested.

If you look at some of our writings on this, Storj has been talking to them from day 1. Love the Maidsafe guys, and will be integrating them into on of our front end apps. Competition is a thing of the past, when you can just work together. Also, I understand it's difficult to tell, but do you have an idea on when the storj beta (DriveMiner) will be available for the crowdfunders? Rough rough estimate is okay if you can.

in china..we have free storj...
Tsinghua University has been doing the research on Decentralized Storage System more than 3 years, they will release it in future for free.I guess they meant that client software is free to download. But without making a profit, users will have no incentive to run the clients and no one will sign up to provide the service.
