are you forced to exchange it on counterwallet where there is no volume?

Will it be possible to withdraw Storj from Counterwallet onto a QT client or another exchange such as Mintpal? Are we forced to use counterwallet where there is no volume?

I, along with many others cannot stand to use counterwallet - as volume is so little on there you would never be able to sell your coins and its not easy to use.

Being able to move Storj away from counterwallet is essential before I decide to buy any.

Also, when will farming commence?

So once I send my btc to the counterparty wallet then send it to crowd sale  address, where  do they send the Storj to? How do they know I sent it?
Just wait. Coins will appear in your wallet that you sent from.

the counterparty wallet?

the disclaimer says it could take up to a few hours to receive your SJCX. I guess some people get them fast and some take a bit longer. I honestly wouldn't worry unless its been over 3-4 hrs.

5 hours.

try and close the counterwallet page and re-login on a different tab. For me at least, im having issues with chrome on CounterWallet...like the BTC deposit was loading forever  until I closed and re-logged in and it was there. And the same for when my SJCX arrived.

as if by magic.

thanks

how long is the wait usually from sending BTC?

From my BTC qt to CounterWallet it took about 7 mins. After sending my BTC from CounterWallet to the presale deposit address, it took about 5 mins to receive my SJCX.

Couple of block confirms. Depends on how Bitcoin is feeling that particular day.

Ok...I sent some BTC for the Crowdsale. How will I be able to participate in Driveshare and MetaDisk?  Is this all going to be handled through the CounterParty wallet?

Honest question...

You can already test Metadisk here:

http://node1.metadisk.org/
http://node2.metadisk.org/
http://node3.metadisk.org/

As per the early release of DriveShare it will be a staggered rollout in order of crowdsale contribution.

And yes your contribution address will be "white listed" when is available to be used with DriveShare.
