hw still coming.. and crashes some times(any way related to jansson 2.7?)

u may add some more speed, copy these files to your sgminer folder:
http://www.filedropper.com/147rc3opencl12amd-app15263

what are those files ?

amd driver dlls from 14.7rc3 installation, u have no need to install whole driver pack, just use dlls at miners folder
those worked best for me
makes no difference to me...
ok I think I solved the hw issue... I have to do exactly like it is done for neoscrypt implementation (even though it doesn't make any sense  Grin )

It was only the wind.
Earlz and LTCMAXMYR got some good optimizations of mine, resulting in the gap closing quickly. Mine is still slightly faster, but not by much.

However, for the security of the PoW, Earlz needs to fix his little SHA2 loop at the end so that it works as intended sometime in the future with a hardfork. Since I have a killer SHA2, this will result in my optimizations creating a gap again, most likely.

amd linux miner?
is/(will) src released?

He's letting the Windows miners raise the diff first.  Grin

bet u get 280x running atleast 22khs today

I might, or I might work on something else. Or I might just say fuck it and play Skyrim all day, who knows.

or just get drunk.. vote for that

well, I'd like to solve the hw problem first which is linked to difficulty reading from the pool (apparently)

One issue I'm having with the AMD miner, my 280x rig just locks up with -I 8 nothing else.  My R9 270 rig just crashes on launch, but my 7950 rig works well.  I think it may have something to do with the CCC version?

Thanks for putting that out though by the way.

My rig with 5xR9 280x Toxics crashes at launch any ideea why?

Thx in advance

Get rid of --gpu-platform option.

It's working now but just for 2 minutes then appear this message "Failed to create postcalc_hash thread" any ideeas how i can correct this

Thx

It was only the wind.
I have now compiled the updated cpu miner for different cpu architectures (I am only able to test on Haswell and increased my previous has very slightly from 1.15kh to 1.19kh):

Haswell - https://mega.co.nz/#!kgASjYoL!9ZW3LkWl64vvBxhBMvLy1Hy_Ba8yFDVyViRyG02Kfq0

Ivy Bridge Core i3/i5/i7 & Xeon E3/E5/E7 *V1 - https://mega.co.nz/#!lwpkGCJZ!6klSd0Sttk-5NFgLzuWJQfd2YEqP50A46sG2LO4Lox8

Ivy Bridge Pentium - https://mega.co.nz/#!N5hCRAjZ!qEDL8izJExpNxuZpHlEhiuOD-C-o2xgKB4WfAYuprdg

SandyBridge Core i3/i5/i7 & Xeon E3/E5/E7 - https://mega.co.nz/#!I1ZlVY5a!Q-i33nhkGMCiK25Pgsu_n7G-0vgdBoacQymsaaIXO-o

SandyBridge Pentium - https://mega.co.nz/#!F44lHYLJ!YGlKQ07nNO0MmDeFiTAw8Dfxn0oRWABvopH44WgVLnw

there is so much difference between a xeon 3/5 and a i7 ?

Because I've noted that on some servers with xeon e5 processors are slower and less powerful than the last i7. Possible?

Often true - especially since pretty much all Xeons have locked multipliers.
