Boardwalk is Swarm City’s Minimum Viable Product. It enables users to create requests and respond to them, and make and execute deals with Swarm City Tokens (SWT). Boardwalk is where commerce begins in Swarm City, and provides a simple, intuitive system for participating in Swarm City’s peer-to-peer sharing economy.

Hey guys.... I tried using the site at swarm.city but none of the existing ARC token swap methods work for me as I believe it's because I hold my ARC in MyEthereWallet... what are the options for people like me with ARC in an Ethereum based wallet like Parity or MyEthereWallet? Thanks.

I saw that at the moment, you can use your mew private key in the terminal.

Create a new profile, choose the convert option, then choose the following option, and enter your private my ethereum wallet key :

Call me paranoid / crazy but I just don't get the warm and fuzzies dropping my Eth private key in to a centralized web wallet when it contains other assets aside from Arc. Is there a point where we can redeem ARC for SWT via a smart contract we can send coins to? That would make me feel a lot better Smiley If that is the case I'll just wait for that, if not, I'll have to weight the risks to rewards...

In the Swarm City Terninal, you also have a public key. So if you don't want to use your private key within the app, you can also just send your ARC to the public key in the wallet. Then the swap can still take place and you have brandnew SWT in the Swarm City Terminal.

It is not centralized as far as I know. Something like connecting gateways. But I don't have the tech knowledge on it.

It is understandable tho, because you just don't know how reliable it is, and new.

The keypair never leaves your device. Transactions are signed on your device and are sent - after being signed - to a ethereum node.

If you don't trust the Dapp and want to swap your tokens manually , we have written a short technical manual here:

However Im too lazy to listen to that bum in the video, so clarify to me what u mean by terminal. Is it a physical atm or a code name for the software that disburses swarm to shareholders like an ethereum smart contract.
