Hey guy´s, where is the best mining pool?
http://s1.altcoinix.com   have the best hashrate but only pay 7.19SWP per block.
https://aikapool.com      this pool pays 12SWP.

Hi.

Aikapool is not enforcing masternode payments - which means blocks will be invalidated with the next version of the wallet. We have a maintenance release of the wallet ready - we will contact them and try to fix it before we release it.

Be very careful using pools that are not on listed on the Swipp site. You may end up on the wrong chain, meaning you are just mining in thin air. All pools listed get notified by us when we do new wallet updates.

Yours, team swipp

What? I have been working on Aika pool for more than 14 hours with 15 D3s, now will I lose all this coins? If Coinsmarket I sell on it, the buyer will lose? Or I sell hands off now to others in my country, will they lose?

You are fine. When the wallet is next updated, Aika pool will go down to 7swp. If Aika do not update their wallet, their blocks will not be valid.

Right, we will obviously not invalidate blocks retroactively. The current non-enforcement policy was chosen in order for all pools to properly prepare for the change... At some point we feel we have given everybody enough time. Also, considering the fact that Swipp is so actively developed, any pool that has not reported to us that they are lisiting Swipp has a very high risk of ending up on the wrong chain, as we don't even know how to contact them (and in many cases we dont even know they list Swipp).

Yours, team swipp

+1 Thanks for the clarification on this. Have I missed something on staking, by the way? I've had a good number of coins sitting on the latest Windows wallet for roughly a week now, but nothing. I did see time to maturity was 36hrs.

Hi.

Our only exchange (coinsmarkets) is having problems at the moment. Until it's resolved, you can only buy it directly from community members.

I also bought 60000 swp on the coinsmarket long ago to make 2 MNs, If unfortunately I bought the coins aimed at exploited at the Aika pool (illegal sneaky exploitation) and sold it to the coinsmarket, I would have lost it?
What the hell is this?

The current correct block reward at this height is 12 (through 180k). Aika has plenty of hash to find blocks.

Swipp - a modern cryptocurrency
hi everybody?
are there any exchangers with swipp alive at the moment?
Hello.

Only coinsmarkets. However, they are currently having massive stability issues and have currently disabled deposits, trades and withdrawals.

Thanks to the community, more exchanges seem to be coming up though, we will publish them on both the website and ANN once we know more.

ANNOUNCING SWIPPSWAP

HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody.

As you know, we have tried to apply for a listing on a few exchanges. While some of them might actually list us (after us badgering them enough), others ask for insanely absurd amounts of payments in order to process and list a new currency. While developing an exchange was not part of our original plan, it is painfully obvious that the cryptocurrency world needs a proper free exchange where new currencies can flourish and get listed. The current situation with a few exchanges with business models solely driven by greed monopolizes the market and hampers innovation and directly goes against the free and open spirit that the original Bitcoin was developed under.

As a community and for the benefit of all cryptocurrencies out there, we need to, at one point or another, say that enough is enough!

Therefore we plan to, during the first quarter of 2018, release SwippSwap! A centralized exchange for the benefit of the whole cryptocurrency community where all new currencies can get listed for free. The exchange will be developed by a Swedish business and hosted in their private data center. To make the exchange easy to use, the interface and design is inspired by Cryptopia - something we beliveve will allow everybody to easily migrate to SwippSwap.

So to summarize the exchange;

Processed trades will cost 0.15%, putting us mostly below the rest of the market.
Listing a cryptocurrency in all current base markets will be completely free - something that will never change.

This sounds great. Let me know if you need any help with hosting, systems support, cyber security or any of the rest of the backend components.

Best,

Fusionfofo
Developers will be able to buy extra services for their cryptocurrencies (base market listing, mining pool to name a few). These extra services will require Swipp for purchase.
The initially planned base markets for the exchange are SWIPP, BTC, ETH, DASH, BCH and LTC.

In the long term, we believe the exchange will grow the Swipp currency and allow us to generate some funding for the project.

More details about  the exchange will follow on the website. We will also post a seperate announcement here on bitcointalk about the exchange once we have more of the details in place.

Happy new year everybody.

Yours, team swipp

Actually, coinsmarkets is not gone.

They are having some server issues because of the huge influx of users in recent weeks. The exchange has outgrown the current server setup, so they are upgrading their servers in order to meet the demand.

This exchange is quickly becoming more popular to trade on, something that is very good for Swipp Smiley.

Swipp - a modern cryptocurrency
Hello everybody. Here comes a long awaited update.

First, the adaptive masternode network has been undergoing testing on a private branch by Twiddler and it is working exactly as intended. In the process we also found several bugs that were present in the code related to payouts and ranking calculations. Seems more or less all peercoin derivates have these bugs, so Swipp will be the first currency to actually fix them!

Second, we have received many questions and there is quite a lot of confusion concerning the adaptive masternode network. To remedy this, we will publish some information explaining exactly how it works on the website. We will also extend the masternode block explorer with some UI elements and extra information in order to make it more understandable there as well.

Third, our business partner and team member responsible for the SwippSwap exchange has suggested an agreement concerning masternodes on the Swipp network. The agreement suggests that 25% of all the collected BTC trading fees will be exchanged on the exchange and paid directly to masternodes on the Swipp network. This should increase ROI dramatically at an initial stage. Our hope is that this will attract people to the Swipp cryptocurrency and the exchange at the same time.

Fourth, We have made a slight update to the block explorer to help everybody diagnose their masternodes and check if everything is correctly configured. Right now, the check only includes a check to see if the masternode port is open for external connections. However, it will be expanded with more information as we extend it. Don't forget, once we start hosting services, we will enforce this rule very hard and any masternode with a closed port will never receive rewards.

Finally, chaozer reports that that the the currency has been submited to two new exchanges that will most likely accept Swipp. We will put links to these exchanges here on the ANN and the webiste once we have confirmation from them.

Coinsmarkets has been down for several days. While we have not been able to speak to them, a few developers of other cryptocurrencies have managed to contact them and are reporting that they are updating their infrastructure in order to meet the new traffic and demand that has flooded the exchange recently. We hope they will be back up shortly.

Yours, team swipp
