So will there be any changes after a lot of displeasure shown by people?

As I mentioned we'll be reviewing the reward schedule and there will almost certainly be a change there. I think many of the other miscalculations and misinformation that was posted by others in earlier pages has been clarified at this point.

Yes a lot of general fud but also some genuine concern. I really wish the total supply be cut in half. The mining rewards be tweaked so they dont impact early risk takers

No. Just leave it as it is. Early risk takers or not, this is a coin where you hold for a long time for profit.

ofcourse its fud and so is your post. "long time for profit" huh re-evaluate mate. you stand to make 10x profit on launch ,not guaranteed but based on previous coins with innovation it can. not talking a overnight thing but it will and im not talking months and as businesses look to syscoin, your talking cementing its position in the top 10. the mistake people will make is holding this coin for short period and they will just watch rise and rise. ipo price will not be seen again.

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
Another coin I like (Britcoin) got an article on IBTUK (International Business Times UK) - might be worth doing an interview with them to get more coverage for the Presale and the innovations that SYS offers.  Their twitter handle is @IBTimesUK .

Thanks for that. Good idea

Britcoin put out a press release here : http://www.pressat.co.uk/ and within a few hours IBTimes got in touch with them.  It might be worth doing the same to help get the word out about the Presale even further as that suggests to me that other news organisations may also be looking for news material there.

This is actually a stellar idea and something we'll be actively pursuing. I gotta admit this weekend was a lot of answering questions but I think most of the core questions have been resolved which frees up the team (remember we're only 6 ppl/3 timezones) to start engaging media outlets.

We try to make sure our bandwidth/availability it always enough to address questions people may have in parallel with more direct marketing (and development) efforts like press releases and interviews. Now that many of these initial questions have been answered we'll be pushing more attention towards that direction Wink This is also a reason why the presale period may seem a bit long, we've got more videos, whitepapers and press releases coming out during this time. We fully expect additional waves of questions with each piece of material we release and we're happy to answer Smiley

Also we're working on getting together a live Q&A with the team- preferably moderated by a journalist or something like that. We're still working out the logistics but this is definitely something we want to do before the presale ends, hopefully before the early bird phase ends. We'll record it and distribute it for those that may miss it due to timezone/time obligations. As soon as we have some information on this I'll let people know, still working on logistics at the moment.

I'm really going back and forth on whether to invest in this or not. On the one hand the feature-set doesn't strike me as anything particularly different to what other projects are doing, but on the other hand in the world of open source crypto where features can be cloned and there's so much competition, its probably the front end stuff and being able to get merchants and customers on board that will really determine success, so the association with Moolah is a definite positive.

Can anyone provide me with more information about what this association with Moolah will bring to the table exactly, such as - how many merchants and wallet accounts does Moolah already have? In what ways is Moolah planning to package the capabilities of Syscoin into plugins or modules for use by their merchants and wallet holders? Anything else that will give me the confidence that businesses will actually use Syscoin's features?

90,000 registered user accounts. Majority consumer, a few thousand merchant accounts. We'll be building a number of easy to use "do it yourself" overlays on top of the Syscoin platform.

Thanks, they are reassuringly solid numbers - more than I thought tbh. Not sure exactly what an overlay is though, but at least I know you will be building out some of the necessary front end stuff.

I'm in.

You've also contacted me via PM and I'll reply as soon as I have a moment, let the public thread refocus on questions from investors/presale purchasers. Please.

No need.  Just keep doing what you need to, to take things forward:)

Look we don't mind constructive criticism at all, but strait up FUD for the sake of FUD we cant allow.
Its really as simple as that

Yes that was not my intention.  I'm not normally one to panic (in fact I'm usually a very steady hand) but have not been getting much sleep lately and running on caffeine hasn't helped.  There have been so many scams in crypto lately that I added 2+2 and came up with a million.   I have taken a step back and considered it - I have been following the developers for a couple of months so it's silly to have a knee-jerk response like this.  I will continue to support Syscoin - even if I don't make a profit, the concept itself is worth being a part of.

Guys I think I've fundamentally misunderstood some postings by others (whom I mistakenly thought were part of the team).  This is one of the risks of reading forum posts when you are sleep deprived.  I'm still not happy about my posts being deleted but I am going to sit this out and keep my fingers crossed for everything to happen as planned.  Apologies if my "panic" rubbed off on anyone else.  I will ensure that I don't start reading the forums again when I am sleep derprived and running on 4 cups of coffee.  If the moderator can delete my previous messages and related messages I don't mind because I don't want anyone else getting in a similar state.  I think some more clarification in the OP post is great.

Good man.

Specific details about valuations and their general attitude towards the presale were not.  I'm not saying there is anything bad about SYScoin and I agree I made a mistake in investing in the presale.  All I'm asking for is a chance to get out nothing can be set in stone like this.  I still believe SYScoin is doing a lot of great things.  I just don't think I was able to make an informed decision.

...but what if you made a GREAT decision? What if the IPO price is never seen again once it hits an exchange and it continues to grow, especially considering the low amount mined per day? Think of it that way. I still think you made a great decision, and only time will tell who's right.

You're probably right.  I think if they deliver this will be huge.  I think there has been a lot of misunderstanding on this topic (a lot in the forum).  I apologise if I have caused misinformation.  Have just been concerned and any time I see that one of my messages has been deleted it is a warning sign for me.

A few observations:

The general consensus around here appears to be that the IPO is overpriced. I personally feel the price is decent, but could definitely use a bit more room for growth one way or another (by reducing max coins is an interesting idea). However, the appearance of the IPO being overpriced is not good;

I was among those who had concerns about the IPO price based on some calculations I'd seen earlier in the thread - which were erroneous. Market cap was being calculated and compared against other coins based on the future absolute total number of coins, instead of the number of coins at launch. Coinmarketcap.com for instance lists marketcap based on current price x current number of outstanding coins (not current price x the final future absolute total number of coins that will ever be created).

If you look at the IPO price x coins at launch, the market cap looks a heckuva lot more digestable - more like a VOOT or KARMAcoin than a DRK. There's much more potential room for growth than some of those other figures suggested. It helps a lot if there are new features ready to go at launch - or at least demonstrable proof that progress on them is well under way.

Yes you're correct there were some gross miscalculations being posted by users in earlier pages (one thought we had a 30k btc market cap...  Huh ). We have a 944k initial market cap if the presale sells out entirely. Less if not.

We are revising the mining rewards very slightly as well which should further increase room for investors to grow; will have an update on these figures within 48hrs.

Yes that would be useful actually.  It was some of this kind of stuff that made me a bit jittery.
