Built from syscoin sources so i think so. Go to SYScoin IRC and ask OiSiS. For me working both like a charm.

That's all you need a fake wallet that causes issue with the coin.. I would wait for Dev to release

I bought in ICO, price now is artificially low, but I am not worried at the slightest. This coin has a very bright future. Price is going into outer space after weak hands are well shaken at last.

And you are right about impatient people. These are people trading on emotions rather than a solid trading plan etc... The only reason why the price is as low as it is, is simply because of impatient people dumping their coins out of emotional bias. They are killing it for themselves on their own.
