:o80 sat, I will happy to get 30 sat syscoin Grin

Are you sure that it goes up again if it is down at 30? I know that Syscoin is good but it seems that people are not interested anymore Roll Eyes.

Well, it won't go back to 200 satoshi, that's for sure. But you can make more money by buying for 30 sat and selling for 90 than buying for 200 and hoping that it will get to 300.

What are you talking about, Sys can easilly go above 200 still, stop talking like you know what yr on about cause you dont

I think someone needed BTC. At 13:30h 14btc dump on SYS, and at 12:00 22btc dump on VRC. It may not be connected but seems to me like a same person...

Well, if they needed $/euros, looks they got out of crypto at just the right time. Bitcoin pumped and dumped like it was just another rinky-dink pump-and-dump altcoin yesterday and might be headed to new lows for the year.

I see glimmers of hope (NEM, Ethereum, Nectar, Counterparty), but most of the crypto (including bitcoin) is in the pits these days. You have twitter crypto celebs talking more about forex and other daytrading alternatives. Bear market doesnt begin to describe it. Scams, overpromises, hacks and mediocre devs have cumulatively taken too much of a toll.

Anything that's perceived as anything less than stellar and bleeding-edge advanced is treated like pond scum and dog doo to be avoided or scrapped off the boots.

There wont be a re-launch.

We are hard at work on the Block Market and other things, please take a look at the latest information on our recent blog post http://syscoin.org/syscoin-0-1-5-production-release-product-development-galore-and-more/

I have not been here for a while and now I can´t stop wondering what is going on? Why the price is at 1/6 of IPO and why hardfork? Devs gone?

Devs are here, read the blog. Last price drop was because someone just dumped the whole order book (14BTC) for some reason down to 36sat.

Devs also said there wont be a fork, but this idea comes up again and again, so it seems the discussion is necessary, though I understand it looks a bit scary to someone just reading the last posts. It is not.

No. Devs are here. Just many people are unhappy that they are putting their effort into getting their money back from a scammer instead of properly developing the coin (GUI!) and promoting it (!!!!!). There is no community take over. Someone suggested it few pages back but I think it would have been insane. We are discussing relaunch.

Thanks for the info. Best way would be to hire some "polite" ukrainians to hunt slex down and then slowly ("slice by slice") get coins back. It would not be so hard..

FUD, as usual.
Doge has been below 20 Sat and climbed to 300, so your statements is your opinion, not a fact.
What I would like to know is who dumped 20 million Sys on Bittrex? Is this Ryan who has access to MintPal balances?

Well, let's be serious. Don't compare doge to sys. Syscoin has been continuosuly dropping since launch (with small bumps). Someone dropped 20 million sys because he wanted out while the buy orders started at 150 satoshi (and now they are at 90, so the guy did a smart thing). I would like syscoin to go back to 150 price range as much as you do but it won't happen by itself. Too many people are baghjolding and too many people grabbed those 200 000 coins for prices starting from 30 satoshi. Let's stop pretending that everything is all right while it is not. Fuck Ryan Kennedy. That guy outsmarted us and while I understand that all of us would love to prosecute him, it should not happen at the expense of the coin, which is happening right now. Let's stop pretending. Relaunch or do your best to keep sys in the 50-150 price range.

The seller wasnt smart at all, as he could have had way more for his coins if he was slowly selling them off. The price is 90sat instead of 150 because of him and all those who bought very low selling their coins for 2-3x. He probably didnt care about a few BTC or was really impatient, but you really cant call him "smart".

I would seriously want to know what those relaunch ideas are all about. This will not lead us anywhere. Please explain in detail how a relaunch would work and what would happen to the old coins. And THINK about it first. All I read is that a relaunch will magically save us, but no one actually even tries to explain why.

Yeah, I agree that it could have been done smarter but you know what I mean. Cutting losses and rebuying for a lower price is many trader's strategy.

As for the relaunch, I am not the person to ask. That should be the community's decision. Probably people have various preferences. List of options is:

1. Do not relaunch at all.
2. Soft relaunch (all the coins remain, the coin gets rebranded or forked, some speces are changed, or both things happen - many coins managed to break from decline by this move)
3. Hard relaunch (old coins lose their value, the technology stays the same, coin restarts - this would piss off current mayor holders but would definitely be best option for newcomers, to minimise the colaterral damage swap of the old coins for the new ones could be arranged but of course not 1:1 but for example at 50 satoshi level).

1. yes
2. name a few coins please. I hope we are not talking about "community takeovers".
3. what means not changing 1:1 but at 50sat level?

Few pages back someone suggested community takeover but I think it would have been insane. I hope the community won't back this idea up since badly done community takover would mak the situation even worse. As for the soft relaunch, think of it as the community takeover but done by the devs themselves. For example, currently IE's coin failed to launch properly and there was a vote to determine if it should have hard relaunch, soft relaunch or if nothing should have happen (the decided to place exit walls for people who wish to exit).

By not 1:1 but exchange at 50 sat level (or any other level) I mean that for example for every 100 satoshi of the old coin you would get 50 satoshi of the new coin. This is just an example.

IEs desaster coin isnt a good example, thats a totally different situation with different possibilites, we simply dont have (refund). Anyone who bought this should check his brain in the first place. The thing is, I have a had a ton of differrent altcoins, I dont want to say "hold" as I had most of them for no more than a few days, but I was involved. I have a hard time to come up with any good examples for number 2, so I ask again for that.

What does "for 100 satoshi of the old coin youi wold get 50 of the new coin" mean in practice? If you want to swap it will always be 1:1, 1:2, 1:10 whatever. And please understand that the ratio is completely irrelevant.

I would go for number 3 but the converter from old coins to new coins would have to be fair. I understand that it can't be 1:1, but let's remember we don't want to lose on that.

4,5 BTC divides us from 50 satoshi.

We decide which way will the trend go. Help building the buy wall at 50 satoshi. If it really drops to 30 sat like some people said, we are fucked.

LOL, don't tell me that this is not the end of Syscoin.

Relaunch? Devs, could you give us any hope for that? Some people in the community hate that idea but there were many votes for it. Better relaunch before the price hits the bottom.
