On the second part, he is right that some coins have nothing but shiny wallets without any usefull features. Others have whitepapers with a nice layout, but if you actually read them you realize that 85% is either common crypto knowledge repeated (to have more than 2 pages) or completely irrelevant stuff. Still those coins tend to have at least short-term success.
Now, that doesnt leave a bad taste in my mouth, and it really shouldnt. It is just how this market works, what this market wants, it is not about fairness or anything like that. If you want to have successfull product, you cant ignore that. If you do, your coin dies.
Transfering that to SYS, that means you can have the best features, as long as you have to open the console to use them they wont get you anywhere. People will mostly ignore them. The very same feature with some nice graphic interface is worth a hundred times more. You can call that dumb, ridiculous whatever - I tend to agree, but the market says otherwise. People buy coins for nice logos!
Shiny graphics alone wont give you long-term success, but right now some short-term success couldnt hurt.
On a positive note, the twitter yccount came to life lately, keep that up.
I think you mis-understood me a little. What left a bad taste was getting into my first coin a year ago, after some mining and buying, then it had dev problems....ok...we rocked thru that....went on and by March it was a fraction of what I had in it.
Found another by April, mining went well, bought some, bought some more, mined my butt off.....bought 4- zeus Blizzards in June, still doing good. By mid~late June bag was worth over $1000. WoW....crash again with a somewhat rise and crash harder. Dev drama again. Crap! Hung around a bit and then discovered Syscoin.....not long ago gave up on Karma and sold my 25,000,000 off (less than $50) to fund some syscoin. Ack!
Which I have solo mined in the very beginning, merged mined some, better to mine other coins to buy sys as well as bought A BUNCH.
Point is....I get in long haul. Just my nature. True traders I guess are smart enough to see the "get in" and "get out" signs.
Me, I've been burned twice. I really, really feel this dev group is different. Just a victim of bad luck and circumstance.
This blows up a third time.....it's straight trading for a profit for me and I'll never, ever grab hold and hang on to a coin again. Meh!
I got long winded....sorry guys.
oh and yeah, CK, good things in the blogs!
