I can help building the wall at 50 sat but there is not much I can do. I have enough coins and don't want any more. But I agree that buy wall is important because if there is no real interest in the coin we can try to pretend that there is one which will make new investors feel safer about investing so even if most of us don't want any more coins no matter the price we can at least build buy walls.

Also keep building buy wall at 50 satoshi to prevent the price from falling below that. Only together we can save Sys.

As it has been mentioned before, Syscoin won't attract average investor. Functions available only in the console are non existent to most people - do you really think that Amazon, Ebay or Silkroad would be so popular if you were able to access them only through console? We are doing it wrong. It's not about functions but about accesibility. This is why market doesn't care about new updates - they relly don't add anything to the value of the coin. Syscoin is going downhill not only because the ICO bagholders and Moolah case. It's going downhil because of POOR MANAGEMENT. Maybe we have great programmers but we have terrible PR team. They failed to sell features of this coin and the continue to do so. Long updates are NOT good press release. Short, continuous updates are. Basicaly there seems like it is NOTHING being done to promote this coin. IT people should not run businesses, they should have people to do this for them. I really don't get it where all the ICO money went. I am not asking about those BTC stolen by Moolah but  the rest of it. Is it being wasted on useless functions that noone uses anyway and that are not promoted? Do something hire professional PR instead of pretending that you can do it! Sorry for the harsh words but you see where your mistakes lead us. Stop blaming everything on Moolah - Syscoins's failure is mostly result of failed marketing.

Hey, so I just noticed everything on syscoin.market is only 88SYS.

Was excited until I realized it's every item, is this an error?

It's an error in the Syscoin code. if you do an "offerscan 0 500" in the console you'll see the price of those items is 88 sys as well, except for the ones that have been updated, which are incremented by 88 sys every time they are updated for some reason  Huh

offer.cpp at line 2063 in method offerinfo

         oOffer.push_back(Pair("price", ValueFromAmount(theOffer.nFee) ) );

It's returning the network fee for the offer (which is set to 88 by default). The fact that the fee appears to increment during an offerupdate might be related to line 64 in offer.cpp in method GetOfferNetworkFee

int64 nRes = 88 * COIN;

I don't know where the COIN const is defined by it's referenced everywhere. It seems like it should be "1" but perhaps it is being incremented incorrectly somewhere too.

@danosphere @mwheeleruk @coderboo etc I have created an issue in github for this item to be reviewed.

If the team is actively working on this issue, I'll gladly stick with the posted price for the 2g "while supplies last" and the while the ad is active. Full stealth guarunteed. USA Domestic only.

Do the thing and you'll have the power.
Is there shame in relaunching the coin? I really like this coin and the team but this Moolah shit has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. This coin is still young.
Just my 2 cents

It only matters for someone looking for something to fault about a coin.....any coin.
There's a ton of work already done and absolutely no point in scrapping things to start over.....
besides...p[eople that wanted to criticize would just say...."Isn't that the coin that used to be Syscoin?".....
and you'd start all over again.

Just look at some of the junk out there selling for 500, 1000,5000 sato or more.
Don't really do anything just look pretty and been around longer.
I have a really bad taste in my mouth from a couple other coins these last 12 months.
One is selling for over 2000 sato....that's 2000!

Get in or get out and hold on.... when this takes off its going to be fun!

^^^ ^Yeah, what this guy says Smiley ^^^^

Only the first part.

On the second part, he is right that some coins have nothing but shiny wallets without any usefull features. Others have whitepapers with a nice layout, but if you actually read them you realize that 85% is either common crypto knowledge repeated (to have more than 2 pages) or completely irrelevant stuff. Still those coins tend to have at least short-term success.

Now, that doesnt leave a bad taste in my mouth, and it really shouldnt. It is just how this market works, what this market wants, it is not about fairness or anything like that. If you want to have successfull product, you cant ignore that. If you do, your coin dies.

Transfering that to SYS, that means you can have the best features, as long as you have to open the console to use them they wont get you anywhere. People will mostly ignore them. The very same feature with some nice graphic interface is worth a hundred times more. You can call that dumb, ridiculous whatever - I tend to agree, but the market says otherwise. People buy coins for nice logos!

Shiny graphics alone wont give you long-term success, but right now some short-term success couldnt hurt.

On a positive note, the twitter yccount came to life lately, keep that up.

I think I will scoop some cheap while I can. I hope more mainstream interest comes into cryptos soon.

I think you mis-understood me a little. What left a bad taste was getting into my first coin a year ago, after some mining and buying, then it had dev problems....ok...we rocked thru that....went on and by March it was a fraction of what I had in it.

Found another by April, mining went well, bought some, bought some more, mined my butt off.....bought 4- zeus Blizzards in June, still doing good. By mid~late June bag was worth over $1000. WoW....crash again with a somewhat rise and crash harder. Dev drama again. Crap! Hung around a bit and then discovered Syscoin.....not long ago gave up on Karma and sold my 25,000,000 off (less than $50) to fund some syscoin. Ack!

Which I have solo mined in the very beginning, merged mined some, better to mine other coins to buy sys as well as bought A BUNCH.

Point is....I get in long haul. Just my nature. True traders I guess are smart enough to see the "get in" and "get out" signs.
Me, I've been burned twice. I really, really feel this dev group is different. Just a victim of bad luck and circumstance.

This blows up a third time.....it's straight trading for a profit for me and I'll never, ever grab hold and hang on to a coin again. Meh!
I got long winded....sorry guys.  Roll Eyes

oh and yeah, CK, good things in the blogs!

Did anyone read the blog update but me?? Geez guys, they update with some good stuff and whats all the doom and gloom coming from?  Huh

Quite simple, selling tomorrow is easy if tomorrow never comes, but for the loss of today and what can be seen, that is not meant to be overlooked.  You've read the information, but that might not be enough for the coin to recover due to the vast quantity in circulation, and certainly makes each of them worth a bit less so profitability is going away.  Market price is a killer and can be dictated by whales, this coin to them is just the same as any other.

If confidence in the coin recovers...  As it stands right now with consideration to the block reward and the number of coins already in circulation, trade value, the hit by moolah, lacking UI interface with console at this stage, my confidence in a return on this coin is really not that high anymore.

We need clear roadmap with dates, features and short descriptions. And we need fuckin' PR!!! I understand that Dano tries his best with the long updates but casual investors don't read it. They need simple, short info. Look how some other coins does it and hire someone to do this right.

Well I am worried now. So many people are saying that the current price is cheap. If it is so, why you are not buying? Is it not worth it? If it is such good opportunity you all should be buying instead of just writing. Things are getting serious now. We need to organise and do something about that. We should gather our spare BTC and start building buy wall at 50 satoshi to prevent the coin from going below that. Some of you might start writing now that it won't get below 50 satoshi but those will be probably the same people who were saying that it won't drop below 200 and 150 just some time ago. Yes, Syscoin will go below 50 satoshi if we won't do anything about that. Actually, for a brief time it fell to thirty something satoshi recently. This whole Moolah situation is not helping it but even solving it in the next few months wouldn't change much. New investors are worried to buy this coin and old investors seem not to believe in it and they want other people to buy the coins instead of building some buy walls by themselves. Someone has to say it: only we can save this coin. And stop saying that we have good tech etc. Yes, we do, but it won't get to common users without proper GUI. And even good technology doesn't mean anything if investors are not interested in the coin. There are many shitcoins trending high and there are many good coins that are no longer active despite the good technology.

I've kind of maxed my investment comfort zone in Sys at the moment (what I would be willing to "lose" worst case). Now it's about trying to contribute more to the community to help my investment and the coin grow.

I think syscoin was the first with that special business on the blockchain technology, right? All others are clones in my eyes. So much new coins which devalue all the good coins, it's horrible.

Normally i would give some buy support but i already have enough coins, so what can i do?

So was this Moolah owner getting rid of his coins?

He has way more, so it is not him. Set buy orders low and perhaps you might get some when he dumps.

He wont be dumping.

That's precisely why it shouldn't be relaunched. It's still a young coin and can bounce back from this without problems. The development continues and they are active with communication.

The moolah stuff is not great but in time it will be forgotten about. At least it isn't a scandal involving the devs, it was just bad luck.

A relaunch would be a terrible idea, and, straight out of the developers' months, isn't going to happen. Let's stop bringing up this same dead horse-its already been beaten too much.

NO, horrible idea. Coin works, people invested, got burnt cause they choose to sell below ICO prices on fact moolah is getting sued for BTC he's holding. They discount the fact this coin has most innovation out of any coin out there hands down, has solid team, months of coding, and really can break free of crypto markets.

If you sold, that was a personal choice based on fear, not on facts. Facts are nothing really changed, what if their was no ICO funds? Shouldn't matter, coins has enough even if no working BTC to add more help it should be fine too.

Once this coin take off, i can see many coming back here complaining about how they sold at a loss, and were not patient enough. Seeing this like some run of the mill crypto, but didn't do their homework to realize this is no average coin.

HERE IS GOOD NEWS: If you sold or have not go any you still cheaply right now. Once the project are out in the open that is all in the code now, people will be wish they had some.
