Live like there is no tomorrow!
Depends on what you are looking for. As I'm only mining TAG sometimes (because I have to use my desktop for work), I like PPS pools. http://tag.cryptopools.com/ is the only PPS pool for mining TAG that I know, and it's really reliable Wink.

Is there a paper wallet yet for TAG?

I've seen this "paper wallet" mentioned a few times and still have no idea what it means.  BTW 24kilo, I'm also a Sydney boy!  Maybe we should lobby fuse for an AU server  Grin

Let me know how the 280X works out.  I've done the maths and if I shuffle my cards around between my 2 desktops I can squeeze a 280x in without blowing up my PSU's.

I will let the experts explain the details a of 'paper wallet' but it is a way to take your coins off-line.

I am really pleased with the 280X's, as I type this on my desktop with an E-mail client, Microsoft office open, Photoshop, a browser plus a few other programs being displayed on a pair of monitors, the 280X is hashing away in the background at 637Kh/s without any evidence of it doing so at about 73C and 80% on the fans. I Have upgraded all my PC's with 280X's and running them in the background giving me about 1.2Mh/s even while the computers are being used. So not bad. The miner will not be coming online till late next week as I cannot get any reasonably priced 280X's at the moment.

And, yes, I think a Sydney server would be a grand idea. Think you and I have been here from the beginning and I am planning to be here for a lot longer. Should have my first 100TAG by this evening and then 900 more to go!

ny2cafuse - One of my developers was working on better image handling, and support for images on personal ads - the bug was there for a short while but she fixed it..you must have caught it while it was being tested :-) ...

lol... no worries.  Just glad it wasn't something big.  Keep up the good work, Tagbond team!

Edit- Thinking about it now, you should take a big group picture of the company and put it in the OP.  I know there are pictures on the twitter account and such, but having something in the OP that shows the amount of people working on this... well you know the saying- a picture is worth a thousand words.

TagYak.org would like to welcome our newest member group "tag.cryptopools.com." This group now gives techbytes and his pool mining website a dedicated public forum with mass member notifications, messaging, and user docs that can be used for "how-to" articles or wikis.

To help promote the "tag.cryptopools.com" group TagYak will give a TAG to the first ten members that join this group.

If you would like to create your own TAG group, with a dedicated forum and docs, just join TagYak.org and click "Create Group" in the user toolbar.

We also have 4 tags left to give away to anyone that joins ny2cafuse's "Tagmining.com" group on TagYak.

Mark,

I was looking through some of the tagverts today, and it appears that there is an error coming up with a few of them.  Any issues on the backend right now?  Error is as follows:

Code:
scandir(/var/www/production/tagbond/app/protected/config/../../../uploads/albums/tagverts/14533/529bdfac85c657071af1d397): failed to open dir: No such file or directory

tagbond,

Any ways you can have your block explorer search for a specific TAG address for all the transactions?

it's possible, but this kind of erratic diff behaviour scares away small fishes like me for good

Not sure what you mean by small fish... but until a few days ago I was using a single 7790 at 240Kh/s to mine TAG since it started... I did as well mining TAG as I did for DGC, FLO, WDC, and ANC...

Join the TAGmining.com pool... great admin and miners... where I have been since the start.

The difficulty algorithm is much more responsive to the miners coming in and out, so that means block creation are produced more steadyily..previously if half the miners left the pools, the difficult would stay high for far too long, resulting in several hours before a new block was created.. the diff level would come down slowly and then miners would come in and rape the coin till the diff was higher, and so the cycle was repeating. It is much fairer now.

Must be middlecoin or another multipool that hit it.
